I tried to steady my breath as I pressed the doorbell. The red door opened to an older lady. She had light brown hair tied into a loose bun. She was tall and skinny, with good fashion taste for her age. I gave her a polite smile, this must be Peter's aunt May.

"Oh hello dear! It's amazing to finally meet you, come in. Make yourself at home." She stood aside to let me in. I found myself in a slim hallway that leads to the living room.

(Give her the flowers dipshit)

"Oh these are your you Miss Parker," I held out some purple and white flowers I picked out from the flower shop on my way here.

"Oh they're beautiful, thank you Wade. And please call me May." She pulled out a vase from the cupboard underneath the sink.

[Wow, this home looks really nice.]

(Wish our childhood home looked like this. Peter must have had a happy childhood.)

"Wade, hey" Pete came downstairs, looking hella good.

"Pete, you look great." I hugged him tightly, he smelt like bubblegum shampoo.

[Damn he's just so perfect]

(Yeah, he is. But I'm still shipping us with Spidey.)

~Peter's Pov~

We all sat down at the dinner table. I like Wade so much, and I never thought I'd feel like this about someone after. After Gwen.

May pulled a dish of lasagna out of the oven. Pulling off her oven gloves, me and wade started eating.

"Wow, didn't know you were such a good cook, Miss Parker," He said surprised after swallowing.

May chuckled happily, she has been nervous about Wade coming over. She knows he's important to me and wanted to make a good impression.

"I'm glad you like it, Wade. 'Miss Parker' is too formal. Call me May, I'd much rather that." She placed a jug of iced tea before she dug into the food herself.

The dinner went really well, Wade and May talked about me. She even showed him my baby pictured after we ate. We had a good time. Later on, I and Wade went upstairs to my bedroom.

"Come, I want to show you something." I opened up my window, "You're not scared of heights are you?" I smiled knowing he definitely isn't, by all the tree climbing we always do in the park. I stepped out of the window onto a small ledge, and from that onto the apartment fire escape ladders. We reached up to the roof. It was part of the roof that you're normally not allowed to walk on, but it had the best view. The sun was setting, we sat down facing it.

"I love sunsets, I always used to climb onto the roof of some hospital back in Canada. Every time my parents would start a fight at home, I'd just go and watch the sunset. I'd sit there for hours listening to my music." He leaned his arms behind him, looking up to all the small stars that started appearing. I leaned my head against his shoulder, he wrapped an arm around me.

"Did you like Canada? Do you miss it?" I looked up at him, his face looked sad. He didn't look worried, or he wasn't frowning. He simply just looked sad.

"No, I don't miss it. I know my home town like the back of my hand you know, but I don't think that's such a good thing. A lot of painful memories of that town. Plus I like New York. You guys have a lot of cool heroes." I smiled but it didn't quite reach his eyes.

"But with a lot of heroes also come a lot of villains." I sighed, my mind wandered to Dr Octavius. He was the only person who could've told Harry about my Identity. "So who's your favorite superhero?"

He smiled at the question like he knew the answer automatically. "Spiderman, he is just so awesome" His grin widened even more, looking down at me with loving eyes. I felt so lucky to have this man wrap his arms around me.

"What do you like about spiderman?" I rested my head on his lap, looking up at him for his answer. He looked at the sunset again while I admired his features.

"I like how brave he is. It's like he isn't scared of anything. He's super powerful yes, but I can tell he has a lot of brains underneath that mask. Not many superheroes would've been able to get back up like he always does."

I wish that were true, I wish things would always be as easy as I make them look. Maybe I should tell him I'm Spiderman. Telling him would lift great guilt off my shoulder. But I didn't want to ruin what we have, it's so perfect. This moment in my life feels so perfect I don't want to ruin it.

"What about you? Who's your favorite?" He tilted his head down. I thought about it for a minute, I liked Deadpool a lot. But I doubted Wade had even heard of him. Deadpool wasn't really known by the media like Spidey was.

"I guess I like IronMan. He's cool." I simply said. Deadpool was the most fun person I've met, he definitely made going to patrol a lot more fun. He always knows how to make me smile.

"Oh yeah, he's pretty cool." The happiness in his voice was slightly lowered. I looked at his eyes, the reflection of the sun, the golden hour tone on his skin. I placed my hand on his cheek, we looked deeply into each other's eyes. Leaned into a kiss, full of magic, and full of something I haven't felt in a while since Gwen.   Love.
