Juggling an identity ~spiderman~

Chapter 35

Tony's Pov

"He's what?!" Clint burst out, interrupting me.

"He's here, in the Medical room. Bruce told me he's got broken ribs. But the interesting part is that Spiderman has fast healing." I leaned back on the white couch. We were in one of the living rooms, all sat down around the room as I had called everyone over.

"Jeez, how long is the list we keep of all his powers. What is it like three pages long now." Nat said before taking a bite out of a red twizzler. 

"I know, I swear the man has everything." Steve sighed. I and Steve are in a very awkward position lately. He hs felt really responsible for my and Peppers's divorce, even though I assured him it was my choice too. He's been avoiding me for over a week now. I and Pepper are in an even worse position. She's CEO of the company, we can't exactly avoid each other. She's definitely been a lot harsher with me I've noticed, and I can't blame her. I'd be harsh on me too if I were her, probably even worse. She could legally take billions of dollars from me right now after this divorce, I mean half the company is technically hers. But I'm glad she hasn't done anything like that yet, the public would go crazy if it got out that I'm a horrible disgusting cheater. And I'm fully prepared to admit that. 

"So we take him to Fury, simple," Barton smirked at Natasha who rolled her eyes at him. They probably bet money on this. 

"But Spiderman is the only one who can stop Gobby" My heart skipped a beat in the sudden voice, I turned around and a man in black and red was standing in the doorway. Deadpool. Great.

"Who's this?" Rogers questioned. I gave him a 'don't ask' look. Deadpool was one annoying guy. I've found it easy to underestimate him when he makes himself look like an idiot half the time. 

"We can handle The Goblin, we've dealt with greater threats," Romanoff said bluntly.

"Well duh, I remember that time you managed to defeat a big purple guy who- Oh wait, that doesn't happen yet. ANYWAY-" See what I mean? He's coo coo in the head. He started walking around the room slowly. "Goblin is after Pe-... Spiderman. And spiderman has fought this type of shit before, Gobby is HIS villain. Seriously, it makes sense that Spidey fights him. With your help of course."

"You literally made no point there. We're locking up Spiderman and taking down Goblin. Easy." Natasha started to get up to walk out. 

"WAIT!" Deadpool ran in front of Nat to block her way. "Uhhh... This reminds me. You know how Spiderman can shoot webs?" Everyone nodded, getting really fed up with this guy. "Well, Gobby cant shoot webs! See?! It makes sense!!" He exclaimed excitingly. 

Oh my god, this dude is stupid. "Oh my fucking god, you make absolutely no sense. Go home-" She tried to shove past him but before she could do that Deadpool spoke up proudly. 

"Great! Thanks for helping me stall you, I gotta go now!" He run-up to the bookshelves on the walls and climbed upwards to the ceiling. Pulled out his gun and shot at the skylight, pouring glass everywhere. I shielded my face but quickly looked up to see Deadpool was already gone.

"Sir, Spiderman is nowhere to be seen in the building," Friday said.
