Fun fact, Iron Man is really stubborn.

After I told him I can't go to hospitals because of my identity, even though it's mostly really about money, he said he's taking me to the Stark tower as they've got a med bay. Deadpool kept chiming in, cautious that Stark would want to kidnap me again.

In all honesty, I wasn't really worried about being held hostage by the avengers again. I've escaped them once, Deadpool has my back and I'm confident they still under-estimate me and wouldn't go all out just to keep me there.

But the reason I really didn't want to accept the help was that this guy that has been trying to kill me and almost killed my aunt May. Even though he admitted to the mistake, it was all a public sham. I almost lost my only alive family member

Deadpool eventually pulled me aside and convinced me that broken ribs aren't something to be taken lightly. We'll just get me sorted and leave immediately. We turned to IronMan and accepted the offer. I went to shoot a web onto a building towards the tower, but as I extended my arms my ribs shot pain through me. I hissed at the sudden jolt which caught the attention of the two.

"Come on I'll fly you over-" Before Stark could finish his sentence, DP scooped me up bridal style, making me roll my eyes, and started climbing up a building me in his arms. We jumped from building to the building following IronMan who was heading for the tower in the air.

We arrived at the tower, entering through one of Tony's high-up platforms. Inside was very bright and modern leading straight to one of the rooms I remember crawling past in the vents last time I was here. Deadpool put me down on my feet again and we followed Tony through several corridors. My breathing was starting to get really painful. Inside the med bay were beds and medical equipment. We entered a large stall where inside was a black surgery bed.

"I'll bring in someone to take care of you." Said Tony before shutting the door. The pain was slowly starting to get unbearable. I hissed as I lay myself down on the bed.

"Careful-" Deadpool helped me lay down. We stayed in comfortable silence for a moment before he curiously spoke out. "You know how we're friends and all that." He mumbled awkwardly. I hummed in agreement telling him to continue. "Would you be mad if I ever found out your identity?" He looked my way for a split second before turning his gaze to the blank wall.

"You don't know my identity though do you?" I questioned, how could he possibly know.

"Oh no, haha. You keep it a secret too well," He chuckled awkwardly, "It's just that," There was a pause before he carefully went on. "The Goblin called you by 'Peter' before." It sounded like he was going to say more but couldn't find the right words.

I knitted my eyebrows reflecting back on what happened during the fight. My eyes widened at the realization.

"Next time Peter, you're dead next time"

Panic rose within me, I just realized Harry could reveal my identity to anyone whenever he wanted to. Fuck. I looked away and just stayed silent hoping he'd catch the message to not talk about it while praying a doctor could come here faster to get this over with so I could go home.

Thankfully, my wishes came true and a lady came walking through the door. She looked only a couple of years older than me, black curly hair in a side parting, dark black skin, and a white lab coat that I noticed had a small coffee stain on the rolled-up sleeve. I guess I wouldn't mind staying here in no rush.

"Hello Spiderman, I was sent here to make sure you're not dying" She moved to the small counter space that was on the side of the room setting up some medical stuff.

"I'm sure I'm fine. I'll heal in no time anyway" I slouched in the bed. Deadpool chuckled a little at me.

"Well let's first check if your ribs are broken, and if they have we'll have to keep you here for around five weeks so get comfy." She pulled on some latex gloves and turned to me.

"It'll take me a week, I have fast healing," I murmured. DP leaned against the wall, looking over at me gladly.

"Like a superpower thing?" She froze and pulled off the gloves. "That's not something I deal with. I'll bring someone who's qualified for you." She walked out without letting me answer. Damn, I shouldn't have mentioned that.

Deadpool groaned annoyingly "ughhhhh now we have to wait for a different doctor-" He got cut off by the door creaking open to a short man. He- Oh my god that's Bruce Banner! My eyes widened but I knew if I started getting excited my ribs wouldn't be very happy so I calmly spoke. "Bruce Banner!?" Maybe not that calmly as my chest hurt when I slightly gasped.

"Hello, yes I'm the hulk. Tony said you may have broken ribs?" He did exactly what the other lady did, except sounded more friendly. He reached out for some gloves.

"Yeah well, Tony also said this will take short time," Deadpool grumbled making Banner roll his eyes.

"Let's waste no time then. Does it hurt when you breathe in?" He started pressing lightly on my chest to see any reaction of pain from me.

"Yeah, they hurt." I wanted to ask him a question about the books he's written. His books are really detailed on gamma radiation and I was dying to know how he discovered the annihilation method. Or when how long it took for him to test the fission theory.

Banner adjusted his gloved before saying "Can you take your top off?" He asked while writing something down on the clipboard that he got from the counter. I glanced at Deadpool who seemed to be in his own little world. I nodded before pulling the suit down so it only shows my chest and stomach. There was some bad bruising, a clear line of purple and blue across me. Bruce pulled my shoulder indicating he wants me to show him my back. My back wasn't as bruised but still definitely hurt. DP turned his head towards me, I could tell he looked concerned for the bruises.

"How high is your pain tolerance would you say?" Bruce's face looked really concentrated on my chest. I thought for a bit then shrugged.

"I dunno. Kinda high I guess." My words broke his thought before he turned to his clipboard again.

"Yeah, you'll need an x-ray then. Normally I'd be able to tell broken ribs by just how much pain you're in. But since you're... Special," He did a circling hand motion to towards me, talking bout my powers "Then we just need an x-ray." Bruce finished.

"This is gonna be a long afternoon." Deadpool chirped in.
