Juggling an identity ~spiderman~

chapter 4

Peter's Pov

My whole-body ached badly. 

My head felt heavy.

My throat burned like fire.

I was slowly starting to become conscious again. Distant voices overlapped around me. After a while of just laying there, drifting in and out of sleep, I finally started understanding the talking that filled the room.

"Just be patient. We will take his mask off when we arrive at the tower. Right now just go back to your seats and wait 'till we get there. I want him to be awake when I take his mask off. I've waited for this moment for too long" I recognised that voice as Tony's.

"You just want to rub it in his face that you've won. Stark you really shouldn't be lifting your ego any higher than it is." That was definitely Natasha talking.

"Haha very funny, I'm dying of laughter" He spoke up again in a monotone sarcastic voice.

I was about to open my eyes but my spidey sense stopped me. This meant someone was still watching me making sure I'm not awake yet. I focused on what I can feel and hear. I felt that I was strapped onto a metal chair. The straps felt like thick leather. It was really disappointing that they underestimated my strength because it feels like I can split this leather apart. 

We were probably in some kind of jet because I could hear the engine running in the background. When my spider sense told me the coast was clear I shakily opened my eyes. The light was blinding for a moment.

Taking a second to adjust to the light, I looked around to maybe figure out an escape plan. There was an emergency exit door to my left, next to Wanda. But even if I jump out off of this jet, the chances I make it to the ground alive are about 50%.

This wouldn't be the first time I jumped off a plane. I just have to time it correctly and find a building for my web to catch onto. I could also make a web parashoot but I doubt that I have enough web fluid to make one, especially after today. My best option is to wait 'till the jet lands and escape then.

From what i could tell, after about 10 minutes I felt the jet land. I heard seatbelts unbuckling and movement signaling the avengers were getting ready to leave.

"Alright capsicle you take the Web Head. I'll get the room ready for him and Legolas you make sure the camera's and microphones are working. We need to track  his every move." Tony ordered.

Seconds later I felt the chair i was on being lifted up by what I was guessing, Steve. My body completely limp, I didn't need spidey sense to know all the Avengers were probably watching me. 

The cold breeze hit me notifying me that we were outside. This was my cue. I opened my eyes to figure out a plan. The whole Avenger's team was surrounding me, probably for security. My hands were still strapped together onto the chair. 

The captain was holding the chair tight from the worry that I might wake up soon. I noticed we were inside a garage that the jet parked in. If I decided to make my escape now, the chances were slim. My best option was to wait for an opening, for me to calculate a plan for an escape. For now I had to make sure my mask was sticking tight on my face. I guessed that someone wanted to maybe experiment some tests on me, to figure out how my powers work and all that.

I'll be honest, I myself dont know much about my own powers. All I know is half my DNA is Spider and half Human. 

Befour I know it, my chair is placed down. 

"When do you think he will wake up?"

"Not sure, but my arrows definitely did some damage"

"Dont forget who taught you how to use the arrows" 

"Yeah yeah, but I'm the one with the great aim"

My guess was that the voices were Hawkeye and War machine. I only met war machine once before and he was scary. He was like fighting a one man army. 

The adults kept talking and making conversation about random stuff. I decided to finally 'wake up' giving that no one was gonna spill any more important information that I might need.
