"BUILT IN 1943, THE PENTAGON IS THE world's largest office building," the tour guide explained as they four walked through the tour.
They were all in disguises, Kit wearing a black top and trousers with a plaid black and white blazer on top, the other boys dressed in formal attire as well.
"Wheres the bathroom," some kid yelled out and the tour guide chuckled and Logan, Charles and Kit snuck down a stairway, leaving Hank on the tour.
They rushed downstairs, walking down the hallway. They heard an alarm blaring in the distance as they walked into the kitchen, water falling down from the ceiling.
"Boys and girls, this is a code red situation, we are evacuating the entire floor so that we can secure the prison," Charles blurted out.
They were all soaked by the water triggered by the fire alarm, Kits previously straightened her now sticking to her forehead.
"Who are you?" One of the two police officers standing outside of the door asked.
"We are special operations, it is imperative that you understand we are in a complete kickdown situation," he tried to explain, stumbling over his words.
Kit rolled her eyes, watching as Logan ran over, knocking both of the guys unconscious with a frying pan he found on the table.
"Oh I'm sorry, were you finished?" Logan asked sarcastically.
Charles looked on confused before reaching into the guys pocket and grabbing his key, opening the door.
"Sorry, I'm just not very good with violence," Charles explained before the elevator bell rang out. He turned around to see Peter and Erik standing there.
"Charles?" Erik asked before getting punched in the face, Charles groaning as he pulled his fist away.
Kit gasped, rushing over and kneeling next to Erik. He groaned, looking up and squinting his eyes.
"Catherine?" He asked, recognising her blue eyes.
"I go by Kit now," she said and he smiled at her.
She pulled him into a hug, apologising softly as he winced from where he had been injured.
"Sorry," she whispered and Erik chuckled, looking up at the girl.
They had always had a great friendship, he had mentored her as a child, having taught her to ride a bike and other fatherly things during his six months at the mansion before he left with Raven.
Erik held onto his jaw, looking up at Charles as he pulled away from the hug.
"Good to see I got one warm welcome, and you're walking" Erik said as he stood up with the help of Kit. She didn't notice the subtle and unconscious glare at a Erik from Peter as he wrapped an arm around her shoulder.
"No thanks to you," Charles spat out, anger laced in his words.
"You are the last people in the world I expected to see today," Erik said and Charles looked at him annoyed,
"Believe me. I wouldn't be here if I didn't have to," he said and Kit smiled as she looked at Erik.
He hadn't grown much but as he looked down at her, he had noticed how much that little girl he once knew had grown.
Over the years, he had tasked Raven with keeping a close eye on her, feeling very protective over the young girl.
Every other year, he would get people bringing little notes in his meals, telling him that she was safe and no harm had come to the innocent little girl he once knew.
"No killing," Charles comanded and Erik smiled at his friend.
"No helmet, no disobeying you even if I wanted," Erik said.
"I'm never getting inside of that head again, I need you word Erik, no killing people," Charles said.
All of a sudden guards stormed in and Kit swore, turning to see them approach her.
"Freeze them Charles," Erik pleaded, trying to get him to use his powers.
"I can't," Charles said and Erik looked at him confused.
"Kit, can you do anything?" Charles asked and she tried, closing her eyes as violet power radiated off of her, hands sparking up with power. Erik looked at her confused as she lit up with power, he didn't know she had a mutation now.
The alarm continued blaring and the guns started to go off, Kit not able to do anything with her uncontrollable powers.
Charles tried to stop Erik as he shook the tables with his powers.
All of a sudden everything changed, the bullets almost changing direction and ending up in the wall behind them.
A bunch of the police had been punching themselves in the face it having objects of clothing thrown around.
But overall, Kit though her position was the worst.
She had been removed from Erik, his arm now hanging randomly in the air.
And now she was standing next to Peter, his arm wrapped around her shoulder.
She rolled her eyes, elbowing him in the ribs and watching as he staggered off.
"Yep, I get the memo. Don't touch," he said, slightly out of breath and taking his headphones off.
They all walked out, Peter following.

They walked outside to a private jet.
"Thank you very much Peter, take care," Charles said, shaking his hand.
"Hey, I saw your flight plan in the cockpit. Why are you going to Paris?" Peter asked and Charles chuckled.
"Do me a favour and return it for me," Charles said, handing him the keys, "And Peter, take it slow,"
Peter smiled, watching as Hank and Charles walked up.
"Well it was nice meeting you Kit," Peter said, extending his hand so that she could shake it.
Kit chuckled, pulling him into a side hug which shocked both Peter and Hank who was watching out the window.
"Thank you, so, so much," she said and he smiled at her.
"Call me!" He yelled out as she walked up the stairs to the plane.
"You wish Maximoff," Kit yelled back and Peter smiled, knowing he wasn't going to give up on this one.
