KIT WALKED AROUND THE HOUSE, missing her boyfriend who was off looking for his dad again.

"Kit!" Jean called, she was only 15 in comparison to the 25 year old Kit. "Theres been an issue with Gwen, shes really upset," she explained.

"Where is she?" Kit asked and she pointed her way towards where Gwen was.

She was a teleporter, only 6 years old and her mutation was out of control.

Kit saw the girl sitting underneath a tree and she walked over, kneeling next to her.

"Hey, you alright?" she asked and Gwent just cried, an upset look on the little girls face.

She shook her head, looking up at Kit with tears in her eyes.

"Come here," she said, holding her arms out and the little girl just sobbed into her arms.

"Why don't I take you back to your room okay?" Kit asked and the little girl nodded.

She picked the girl up, holding her up on her hip as she walked over to the house.

The girl was exhausted, falling asleep on Kits shoulder.

"Hey Kit," Hank said and she shushed him as he noticed the sleeping girl she was carrying.

"Can you grab Charles, tell him to go to Gwens room," she asked in a hushed tone and he nodded.

He nodded, Kit just walking off towards the little girls room that she shared with one of the other kids.

She placed her on the bed gently, tucking her in before seeing Charles wheel into the room.

"She was crying earlier, I just thought you should know," Kit explained and he

As Kit helped out the students, Peter was pacing back and forth in front of Hanks office.

He pulled the box out of his pocket, looking at it wearily before shoving it back in his jacket.

Peter reached his hand up to knock on the door and Hank opened it already, looking shocked as he saw Peter.

"Peter? What are you doing here? Is something wrong?" Hank asked, instantly assuming the worst.

Peter shook his head, "No, no. Everythings fine," he took a deep breath, "Can we talk?"

"Yeah, of course. Come in," Hank said, opening the door wider so that Peter could enter the office.

Peter stood awkwardly next to one of the chairs as Hank went and sat behind his desk, curious as to what Peter wanted to ask.

"So, what is it that you wanted to talk about?" Hank asked and Peter sighed, taking a deep breath.

"I want to marry Kit, I want to spend the rest of my life with her," Peter explained, actually terrified about telling him this. "I just wanted to ask first,"

Hank smiled to himself, looking at Peter. He loved his little sister and knew that Peter was a good man who would look after her.

"I love her, you know, more than anything," Peter reassured when Hank didn't reply.

"Of course you can marry her, obviously its up to her if she says yes but I'd be glad to welcome you to this family," Hank explained.

Peter let out a relieved sigh, smiling at Hank as he sat down in the chair opposite him.

"Heres the ring," he said, fumbling with it in his jacket before pulling it out, "It was my nans,"

Hank opened the box, smiling at the small but beautiful diamond in the center of the ring, a blue casing around it.

Peter froze when he heard a knock on the door. "One second," Hank called out and Peter shoved the ring back in his pocket.

Kit opened the door, looking at Hank. She was holding a little girl on her hip who looked like she had been crying.

"Hey Pete," she said before turning to Hank, "I'm taking Gwen out of school today, were getting ice cream. Just thought I'd tell you she's not going to be in the lesson,"

Hank nodded his head, "Why don't you take Peter with you?" He suggested and Kit smiled.

"How about that, you want to take Peter with us to ice cream?" Kit asked Gwen and she smiled, nodding her head.

"As long as I get strawberry," Peter said, standing up and securing his pocket.

"Fine, you big baby," she said and Gwen chuckled. Kit let her stand up, holding her hand as they walked towards Peters car.
