- Dale -
When I woke up the next day, I still had a raging headache from last night. I didn't have too much alcohol but it was more than enough to give me, I guess, you can call it hangover. Or maybe I'm just being a drama queen. Hah, Qweeen yaaas! Seriously though, I can never be serious with myself. I don't even want my parents to know that they have a gay son.
My head started spinning almost immediately when I stood up, causing me to trip on my legs as I made my way to the toilet. Too bad, that I had to crawl and shove my face into the bowl. I had to spill everything in me now. Gosh, this tastes horrid!
"Dale, you're friend is waiting for you!" I heard Mum yell from the lounge. I blinked a few times, not understanding what she meant. Am I supposed to meet May today? I don't think we had any plans beside sleep because we knew we were about to get wasted last night, which we did.
"I'm coming!" I yelled back, and went straight to the sink so I can at least gargle some mouthwash and wash my face. May wouldn't let me go of this for a while if she knew how wasted I looked.
I greeted Mum, who was busy doing something in the kitchen, as I passed by. When I got to the living room, I was expecting a much more familiar face.
"Hi Dale." Connor greeted, sitting on the couch. My eyes widened as memories from last night flashed before my eyes. 'Shit!' I muttered to myself.
"H-Hi Connor." I smiled and waved weakly at him.
"Dale you better get down here and- Oh okay, at least I didn't have to drag you out of the toilet." Mum appeared out of nowhere. Connor gave me a confused look, but then realized what was actually going on.
"Mum just finish what you were going okay? Jeez, no need to embarrass me in front of my friend." I rolled my eyes, trying to shove her back to the kitchen. I can't help but notice Connor trying to hide his laughter by covering his mouth with his knuckles.
"Dale, you haven't eve introduced me to you friend." She whined.
"I'll introduce you to him next time. He's nothing special." Oops I don't want to come out Just yet.
"Right. Well have fun!" She turned around and went to the back garden where Dad was.
"Nothing special?" Connor asked. I rolled my eyes even more, which only made him chuckle and smirk at the same time.
I grabbed his hand and dragged him to my room. He sat down on my bed while I sat on my chair. "Nice room you got here Dale." His eyes were scanning my room. It's not that great really. I have my desk on one side of the room, with my computer on it, my bed by the window and a closet for my clothes. Like I said, not that great.
"Anyways, why are you here so early Connor?" I asked. He furrowed his eyebrows.
"What do you mean I'm here early? Did you forget we were supposed to have lunch today?" He said confidently.
I swear to god, I felt my cheeks heat up in embarrassment, for real this time. "Holy shit I forgot! I'm so sorry!"
Without hesitation, I took off my pajamas leaving me on my boxers only, as I threw them on the side of my bed. "You do realize I'm still here right?" Connor teased.
"Well yeah but if we were to go out now, then I don't really care that much." I quickly stepped out of my room and rushed to the bathroom and took the quickest and cleanest shower I could possibly do.
When I got back to my room, Connor sat on my chair and browsing through my books. "Didn't know that you like reading comics." He started.
I opened my closet to pick out any nice clothes that I could fine. I got stuck with plain white shirt and a pair of skinny jeans. Honestly, if I'm getting embarrassed, I'll just suck it up and get myself embarrassed even more.
