- Connor -
Last time I saw Dale, he was crying. I wouldn't try to deny it but I was the cause of it. There was none to deny for in the first place. He had his backpack over his shoulders then left our apartment. He shut that damn door like he didn't want to be with me anymore. I... I'm scared of losing him. And.. I just drove him away from me. I'm such a jerk to him. I'm not sure of what to think of myself right now.
Last time I saw Dale, hurt were on his eyes. Tears free-flowed from them like waterfalls with endless amounts of tears wanting to escape. I wanted to hug him so badly and not want him to leave. I want him to stay with me that night. I want to make it up for him in every possible way. I want him to be mine forever.
I went back to Uni the following week, mostly skipping on the last few days last week. I had a lot to catch up with tutorials and labs, but it's not a big deal. I could careless, but I still have to make up for my missing work. It's not that I can't do them, I didn't have the will to at least get them done.
"Hey bruh." Justin sat right next to me. We would hang out in this particular spot at the main library, it's got a massive cubicles for group study and enough privacy that no one would hear us. We were overlooking through a window down to the ground floor.
"Hey." I responded back, still had my eyes glued to my laptop.
"Wow, I've never seen you wear glasses before. First time for everything?" He pointed to my glasses. He set his backpack right next to him and placed down our food.
"Blue-light filter glasses. They uh, kinda work I guess." I lifted my glasses slightly and rubbed my eyes ever so slightly. "Whatcha get for lunch?"
He shoved a small plastic box next to my laptop. "I got a bento box for you and some rice ball for me."
"Uhm, thanks?" I opened the box and it was full of a variety of food, small quantities but there were a few choices in the box. Not that I was nit-picking but I have no appetite to eat right now.
"So how are things between you and Dale?" He said as he shoved more of his rice ball into his mouth. I was too focused on typing my assignment on my laptop to even bother answering him.
He put hid food down and gulped some of his water down to clear his mouth. "I'll take it that it went from okay to worst, since you didn't say anything."
I knew how Justin played with his words and he was slightly taunting, though I didn't want to react too badly. "I haven't seen him lately."
"I do, he's in my class so we see each other." Jace sat down right across us. Justin nearly choked on his food, actually surprised to see Jace for the first time.
"Jace, haven't seen you in a long time." Justin reached over his arm to fist bump on Jace, to which he returned. "Yeah well, you left just right after Connor transferred school. Seriously, I would have thought you two were dating."
Me and Justin shared a confused and disgusted look at each other, then Justin laughed his ass out, nearly choking again. "You think I would suck this man's dick? Huh, no thanks." Justin hit me on my arm with his elbow.
"What are you doing here anyways Jace?" I asked the guy right in front of me. Justin finally was able to catch his breath and paid attention.
"What? Can't a friend enjoy each other's company?" Jace just gave us a fake surprise tone.
"Not that I want you here. I'm avoiding getting into trouble while, well fixing my own problems." I closed my laptop and was giving Jace my full attention. My fists clenched tightly, then Justin noticed them.
"Uhm what's going on between you two?" Justin intervened.
"Shit went down huh. Guess that's why Dale had this intent to kill me earlier during class. His eyes were literally burning holes through my soul. Can't blame the guy though, he can't handle my charm." Jace shrugged, rolling his eyes.
I quickly grabbed Jace by his collar and pulled him across the table. Now everyone had their attention on us. Justin got up and stretched both his arms wide, attempting to separate me and Jace.
"Woah calm down, big boy. You don't want to hurt my beautiful face won't you? At least give me a kiss before you do that." Jace was clearly teasing and taunting me at the same time. And it wasn't that kind of tease, it was more insulting tease.
"Connor, is there something that I need to know?" I looked over to Justin, who was already confused.
"There's nothing that you need-"
"We had sex, my friend. Connor stick his dick up my ass and there were no words to describe how much we liked it. No scratch that, we LOVED it. Isn't that right?" He touched my chin with his finger, whilst smirking.
The next thing I knew, my clenched fist flew towards his face. He fell to the ground as I let go of his shirt. He was still laughing at this point. "I did not do such a thing!" My voice echoed. All the students surrounding us cleared away, their eyes were still on us.
Jace stood up, cleaning some dust off his shirt. "Oh really Connor? Weren't you the one that pushed me against the wall and started stripping me? Weren't you the one that was hungry for sex? Didn't you enjoy the blowjob I gave you?' You loved every single thing we did that night and you said you did not regret any of them."
I was about to punch him again on his face when I heard my name being called in the background.
"Connor!" Dale stood still, shocked. "D-did you..."
"No, no Dale, please let me explain." I quickly changed directions and headed towards Dale. "Please let me explain."
He was shaking his head in disbelief. "No, I... How could you?" His eyes were red and watery, clearly holding back all the tears that were about to escape.
"No please, believe me. We didn't do anything. Please don't leave me Dale." I begged, as I pulled him closer to me, my arms wrapped around his body. Yet he resisted, squirming and pushing his way out of my embrace.
"I- I think I've heard enough." He finally was able to break free. Then he ran, blending with the crowd. Dale just seemed to have disappeared, not even his silhouette was left.
I stomped my way back to Jace and held him up by his collar. "Why are you doing this?"
"Oh you know, I may have heard him talking to someone over his phone and mentioned about talking to you and maybe fix everything. Then I just had to make sure that I got to you first and spice things up a bit. Consider this as payback when you left me back then and left me hurt."
"You sick fucker!" I threw him on the ground, not caring where he landed. If he got himself injured, I didn't really care as much.
I just wanted to talk to Dale and explain things to him.
