Ajay sat in the same seat she always sat in. The hum of the transport ship lingered in her ears. Her fingers were intertwined with Octavio's as the ship took them to their destination. It had been a couple of months since Octavio's hospitalization and he was functioning at top speed as he would say. Ajay's shoulder was pretty much healed but it still bothered her most days. The muscle was still not at 100% from the continued trauma of her job but she didn't let Octavio know it. Ajay used her other hand and tapped a beat on her leg. Octavio smiled as he watched her drum at her leg with her hand. Ajay paused as the countdown timer started.

Octavio pulled Ajay into him and kissed her hard. As they broke their kiss he pressed his forehead to hers and smiled. She smiled back at him and stood up. Ajay met Anita and Bloodhound half way through the ship. She watched as Elliot gathered with Alexander and Renee. MRVN, Octavio, and Hyeon Kim formed another group. Makoa, Natalie, and Revenant formed the final group. Ajay closed her eyes for a moment and tried to focus on the last ten seconds of the countdown and not on the crushing pain of her shoulder.

The ramp for the transport ship opened and the match officially began. The first team out of the ship was Pathfinder, Octane, and Crypto. Next was Mirage, Wraith, and Caustic. Lifeline, Bangalore, and Bloodhound jumped third. Lifeline watched dive trails to Skull Town, Thunderdome, and a new trail to Repulsor as their team descended to Market. She stood on the roof of market for a moment to confirm all the dive trails and then hopped down into the building. Lifeline relayed the dive trail information to the team as they began to loot the area.

Lifeline picked up level two evo armor, a Hemloc with a level two heavy mag and a level one stock, a level one helmet, a level three backpack, an Alternator with a level three light mag, heavy ammo, light ammo, a medkit, and shield cells. Bloodhound had level three evo armor, a Peacekeeper with a level two shotgun bolt, a Triple Take with a level three sniper mag and level one sniper stock as well as a level three scope, a level two backpack, a level two helmet, shotgun ammo, sniper ammo, syringes, and shield cells. Bangalore found level two evo armor, a level four helmet, a level one backpack, a P2020 with a level two light mag and hammer points, an R99 with a level three light mag and a level two stock as well as a level one barrel stabilizer, light ammo, shield cells, and syringes.

They spent more time looting at market then they probably should have. The sirens sounded and the ring began to close. The ring closure was a steep close toward Skull Town. The trio took their time going to Skull Town since they were pretty close to begin with. Lifeline noted that all the teams were still up and there had been nothing in the feed since they landed. It was quite odd but sometimes matches took a little longer than anticipated. If everyone had to move to Skull Town then it was only a matter of time before everyone met up and the bloodshed would begin.

Bangalore motioned for the team to stop right at one of the entrances to Skull Town. "This is going to be a hard win. One team already landed here and another at Thunderdome. That means one or both of those teams already has high ground. I think that we should stay low in the buildings until the fighting starts. Once the bodies start hitting the ground then we jump in." Bangalore didn't really phrase it as a question. This was disadvantage or being paired up with her; she was generally always in charge. On the other hand her ideas usually panned out. Both Lifeline and Bloodhound nodded in agreement.

Bangalore, Bloodhound, and Lifeline made their way towards a set of lower one story buildings. Lifeline tried to tread lightly but she felt like everyone could hear her footsteps from miles away. When they finally made it into the building they closed the doors behind them and waited for the time being. The building that they were in was small and narrow with a door on each end. The building had also been looted clean with nothing left it in.

After the ring closed around Skull Town it wasn't much longer before gunfire and Gibraltar's strike could be heard. Bangalore gave a nod and they proceeded to move closer to the fighting. None of the other enemy teams had gone down yet. The fighting was centered towards the back of Skull Town, near Thunderdome. Bangalore pulled out a canister and threw it out towards the fighting, signaling her strike. Missiles fell from the sky and landed in the sand near the other teams that were fighting. Lifeline looked a little confused as she noticed more than just Bangalore's missiles. She began to say something but it was too late. The teams began to scatter as the missiles began to explode.

"Uh." Was the only thing that Lifeline could say as the ground began to shake below them. Bangalore ran in towards the battle as the fighting progressed. "Bangalore!" Lifeline called to her teammate but Bangalore must not have heard her. Lifeline and Bloodhound followed Bangalore into battle. The shaking became more violent as they neared the battle.

Lifeline became increasingly worried as they neared the battle. "Somethin isn't right. Some of them missiles weren't hers. We need ta get out of here." Bloodhound stopped running and observed the area. Bloodhound seem to finally notice that the world around them was shaking and it wasn't from the battle. The ground was beginning to split and dirt was pouring into the depths of the arena like sand in an hourglass. They looked over at Lifeline, "Okay."

The other Legends must have noticed something was amiss as well because they stopped fighting. Bloodhound motioned towards the entrance of Skull Town and everyone began to run towards them. The ground was now moving and separating at a much faster rate. Sand and rocks were crumbling and falling down into the shattered ground as Skull Town became a sinkhole. All of the Legends were running to get away so that they would not be engulfed by the collapsing arena. The surrounding cliffs of Skull Town began to fall down around them. Lifeline and Bangalore were running as fast as they could as they covered the rear of all of the Legends.

Bangalore dodged a few pieces of debris but tripped in the process. She tried to stand but the shaking became too violent and pulled her towards the ground. The split of the ground reached Bangalore and everything happened so quickly that the arena pulled her backwards into its depths. Bangalore closed her eyes and waited for the impact but was surprised when there was none. A sharp pain in her right arm and shoulder made Bangalore flinch and look up. Lifeline was holding onto Bangalore's right wrist with her left hand. Bangalore smirked and watched as Lifeline helped her out of the pit that formally Skull Town.

By the time Lifeline pulled Bangalore up, the shaking of the arena had ceased and Skull Town, as well as Thunderdome, were gone. They both disappeared into the depths of the water below. Lifeline helped Bangalore to her feet. All of the Legends stood there for a moment and looked at all of the damage that he been done to arena. Ajay heard a faint noise, almost like a fairytale twinkle of a star. She and the rest of the legends watched a light blue, almost white, rush of light burst out of the pit debris. A small gold bracelet lay of the ground in front of Lifeline and Bangalore for just a second or two before a woman appeared in front of them.

The woman was dressed in nearly all white. Her hair was red which faded into brown as it hung down to her mid back in two distinct braids. Her eyes were brown with red eye shadow that flared out at the bottom, which Lifeline thought resembled blood splatter. She wore a white corset like top with gold accents, which pressed her large breasts together into a valley of noticeable cleavage. The corset had ruffled edges that sat just above her hips.

Towards the woman's right shoulder and chest area was some sort of tattoo that was covered by a small, long sleeved white jacket that basically just covered her arms and shoulders. The lower half of her body was covered in a pair of tight white pants or leggings which outlined her rounded ass just perfectly. She wore black heeled boots that came up just above her knees. She carried a staff on her back. The staff bore the head of a wolf on it.

The woman bent over and picked up the bracelet and slid it onto her right wrist. She dusted herself off as she stood up and began to look around at all of the Legends. She smirked at them and tossed her braids behind her shoulders, "Sorry General. I meant you no harm." Her eyes stared at Bangalore as her Latin accented words broke the silence. Lifeline waited for Bangalore to speak but it wasn't Bangalore's voice that broke the silence it was Revenant's voice, "Here to kill me little girl?"
