"It can also mean something impossible to achieve." I rounded the corner, wandering through the library doors. "An unrealizable dream." I looked down at Theo's feet, noticing the trail of Mountain Ash.

"And they realized you?" I heard Theo chuckle and I looked up, just as he turned his head to glance over his shoulder.

"And (Y/n)."

"What?"

"They came close with me. I'm not the successful chimera, she is." I looked between the two, still a little confused. "But we can't all be perfect, we can't all be True Alpha's." What was going on...? Scott sprinted towards Theo, who stepped over the Mountain Ash, leaving my brother to run into the barrier, being sent flying back upon impact. I winced sympathetically. "Damn, I felt that." I looked to Theo as he approached the doors, going outside and turning on a frequency thing. "No calls, Scott. No Stiles, no Malia, no Lydia. You're just going to have to wait here alone for what happens next."

"(Y/n), you're a chimera? You knew about this?" I shook my head frantically and took a step away from the Mountain Ash barrier.

"I-I swear, I didn't know how far he was going to take this-"

"But you knew!" I flinched back. I really wasn't used to Scott yelling at me.

"I-I..." I stuttered, unsure of what to say, feeling tears well in my eyes. "Scott, I promise-" I felt Theo's hand on my shoulder and looked behind me at him, relaxing my body in a slump when he just shook his head. I looked down and bit my lip. Technically, because I was a chimera of the Dread Doctors creating, technically, I was in Theo's 'chimera pack'.

"(Y/n), what happens next?" My brother asked and I shrugged, looking to Theo for an answer.

"The Super-moon."

I had to sit on the bench and watch as my brother tried to push pass the barrier.

"You're a chimera, can't you just break the Mountain Ash?" I stood up and walked over to the line, bringing up my hand and hesitantly pressing it to an area in line with the dust. The barrier showed itself. I shook my head as Scott tilted his head in confusion.

"I'm a success...I'm supernatural...So I follow the rules of the supernatural world." I smiled sadly, unable to help my own brother out of this predicament.

"Do you know what's going to happen?" I shook my head again.

"No, sorry..." Scott sighed, running to the back of the room to a door which led to the roof. I shook my head and sat myself back on the bench, knowing it wouldn't work. The barrier went all the way up.
I heard thunder rumble nearby, followed by the roar of a werewolf. I sat up straight, having heard it come from the roof.
"That...wasn't Scott..."

I felt my phone vibrate briefly in my pocket. I turned off the frequency thingy and pulled the device from my pocket.

Stiles: Where are you? Parrish has the bodies.

At the school.

Stiles: Why are you at school?

Scott.

I bit my lip as I heard something crash, standing up and slipping my phone back into my pocket. Scott and Liam were in the library...fighting?
I looked to my left as shoes scuffed against the concrete.

"Mason?"

"(Y/n)? What's going on?" I pointed into the library, where Liam had my brother pinned to the steps, clawing at Scott's chest as tears threatened to spill from my eyes.
