Stiles slipped an arm around my waist, quietly and gently pushing me against the wall as we hid in an attempt for no one to find us if they were to pass, not sensing us or anything similar. I pursed my lips together, holding in a breath as Valack slid open the door to Lydia's room.

"Theo and Hayden, they found it. They were looking for Noah, but they found a symbol." Stiles turned his head, resting it on my shoulder as the two of us listened closely to Lydia's words. "A circle inside of another circle, carved into a wall." The pack symbol? "The symbol of Scott's pack." Stiles and I shared a look.

"She knew we were coming..." I whispered. "She knew she was the last member we needed..."

"It was more than a symbol, wasn't it? It was a promise to reunite them." I shuddered, immediately straightening up.

"Yes."

"Has Scott done it yet? Will he be coming for you?" Stiles listed his head and looked at me.

"What's wrong?" I looked down each side of the corridor and stood up from my slumped position against the wall.

"Theo's here."

"What do you mean?"

"I mean Theo and his little chimera pack are here!" I hissed.

"I can't believe this is actually a medical establishment." I heard Theo's voice and moved to peer around the corner, only for Stiles to tug me back over to him by my waist.

"Now what would a pack of chimeras want with a banshee?"

"I don't want a banshee. I'm looking for a hellhound." Then I remembered something, so I hit Stiles' arm.

"You idiots brought Parrish! He's already here!" I hissed, hitting his arm again. Stiles covered my mouth with his hand and I glared at him. A deep growl was heard from down the corridor. I nodded for Stiles to look through the gate around the corner. So he did, leaning that way and peering through the thin bars.

"He's here." He whispered and I nodded, recognising the orange glow and mild heat from this distance.

"You wanted a hellhound, I think you found one." Parrish roared again after Valack spoke.

"Back off." I heard a small squelch. "I said back off!" Theo demanded, clearly addressing Parrish. I shared a look with Stiles. "Take him."

"The guy's on fire!" I heard Corey's voice protest.

"You'll heal, do it." I shared a look with Stiles.

"What do we do?" He just shrugged as I slipped by him a little to look passed the gate too. Tracy was the one to obey, running straight at Jordan. I stared in surprise as Parrish simply swatted two of the four chimeras to the side. And then Theo screamed. I looked down a little where I heard whirring, spotting Valack with a drill in his hand and the drill in contact with the teenagers leg. Lydia fell to her knees when she was released, the doctor then hitting him in the fact with the butt of the drill.

"I'm sorry Theo, but I'm not done with her yet." Valack turned around and opened the gate, which Stiles and I were now stood in front of. As he was about to walk through the gate, I made us visible to the naked eye. Corey was then set alight, catching all of our attention as he screamed in burning pain. He was thrown at us, the flames blowing out as he slammed into Stiles. Valack had pulled Lydia away. I quickly pulled Corey to his feet.

"You okay?" He winced.

"It burns."

"You were just on fire, of course it'll hurt, but you'll heal." I then helped up Stiles. He nodded before I could even ask if he was okay. I watched in horror as Theo literally speared Parrish with a metal pipe. "Stiles, follow Valack and get Lydia. I'll keep an eye on this lot." He nodded and went off down the corridors, following the banshee and the doctor, only to be stopped by a menial door being locked from the other side.

"Guys!" Theo's voice called from behind us. "Look I want her out of here too-" I shoved him backwards, neither Stiles or him had expected it considering how calm I had been until now. "What the-"

"You knew. You knew exactly what happened to me! You knew I wasn't dead! You knew I was a chimera!" I shouted, shoving him again and again until he had fallen backwards and I was towering over him, my chest heaving with anger. "You knew everything about me! And you didn't tell anyone!"

"(Y/n)-"

"What am I?" Theo tilted his head, a little confused. "What am I, Raeken?!"

"I-I don't know, they wouldn't tell me-"

"Why?"

"Because I was too close to you, they wouldn't tell me!"

"It's your fault! I'm dead because of you-!"

"You're dead because you went into the woods with him!" Theo pointed to Stiles, hauling himself to his feet as I turned to look at Stiles.

"She died because of the Darach. We were all at the wrong place at the wrong time."

I looked between the two of them. I swallowed thickly. So...I blame Theo for my death, Theo blames Stiles, and Stiles blamed the Darach and our timing.

"You two can find Lydia. I'm going home." Before they could say anything, I teleported, closing my eyes. By the time I opened my eyes, I was surprised and scared. I was in the tunnels. I looked around, until I heard a scream. A banshee's scream. I focussed on the sound and teleported as near as I could to it. I only turned up in  different area of the water tunnels. "Come on Lydia...scream..." I muttered to myself, still trying to figure out where she was. It was a generic scream, a generic banshee scream. I sucked in a deep breath, remembering how Stiles had theorised that I could be a banshee/ghost chimera. I released a piercing scream, screaming my friend's name. "Lydia!!!" The sound echoed off the walls and I listened carefully, hearing the very faint whisper of my name, like someone had said it a fair distance away. Immediately I teleported closer to the sound. I screamed her name again, trying to figure out a precise location. Maybe I was part bat, echolocation mother fuckers. I waited in silence until there was a brief scream again. I teleported once more, looking at my immediate surroundings and jumping when two boys ran around the corner.

"You're screaming?" Theo asked, surprised by this revelation. I squinted, glaring at him before disappearing again. I reappeared. The first thing I noticed was a man in a black waistcoat holding a leather mask. I looked around the room and found a metal pipe. I could see Lydia in a chair, wires pressed to her temples. She was whimpering, readying to scream. I smirked and slammed the pipe against another, creating a reverberating sound as she screamed, seemingly amplifying it further, making the scream ring even louder. And then as Valack prepared to put the mask on her. I slammed the pipe into his one wrist, forcing him to release and drop the mask. I stared him right in the eye, the room growing colder as Valack grew more and more visibly uncomfortable, dare I say scared.
