"This is your car?" I said in disbelief.

"Yes, it is. Do you not like it?" he answered with a slight frown.

I turned to him, giving him a playful shove before speaking again.

"Are you stupid? Why would I not like it? I've always wanted to drive a Mustang,"

"Are you low-key asking me if you can drive?"

"Are you low-key telling me I can?"

"No,"

"Please, Teuk? I promise not to run us off the road, and it'll only be this once. I won't ever ask you again,"

He paused to give me a contemplative look, one eyebrow cocked in slight amusement. And after a while of maintaining the same expression, he took his car keys from his back pocket and tossed them into my waiting hands.

"Just this once," he said, smiling as he headed to the passenger side of the car.

I realeased a very childish squealed of excitement and ran to the other side as quickly as I could so as not to prolong the drive to Myeongdong (I know he said a restaurant, but I was craving street food).

I had been ready to pull off onto the street when my travel buddy put a hand over the one I had situated on the gearshift.

"Not so fast. We're not going anywhere, until you put on your seat belt," he said.

The statement managed to dim my mood a bit, but I abided by his request and reached over to pull the sturdy piece of fabric over my chest - only I wasn't the only one who had done so. Leeteuk, too, leaned over the console to do the same, taking it into his hands and buckling it himself, leaving me in a state of embarrassment.

"Alright, let's go," he cheerfully said once the deed was done.

"R-right. Let's get going," I responded awkwardly, still blushing over what had just happened. Who wouldn't, when a hot guy put on your seat belt for you with his hand centimeters away from touching something other than the seat belt.

It eventually went away along with the slightly uncomfortable atmosphere that followed Leeteuk's action, a nice silence taking its place until the latter decided to speak.

"Where exactly are we going?" he said, turning to face me.

"Myeongdong. I've been wanting some street food, and I kind of wanted to shop around,"

"That sounds nice and all, but I don't know if that's actually going to work,"

"Is there a reason it wouldn't?"

Then, it hit me.

Leeteuk was no ordinary person. He was Leeteuk, the leader of Super Junior, a popular boy group with lots of fans that would undoubtedly recognize him if he were to walk on the streets without a disguise.

The sudden realization made me feel like an idiot. I hadn't even thought about the fact that he was a famous idol, that there was a possibility of him being noticed and eventually getting in trouble with his company. Going out like this, to an area where there would be tons of people, was a stupid move and could be a potential danger to him and others.

"Ah. I guess I was a bit too excited to remember that you're not exactly normal. I'll turn around and choose somewhere else to go. I can just pick up something from Myeongdong on my own time," I said in disappointment. I had honestly been looking forward to spending some time with him amongst the busy streets and the beautiful, glittery neon lights.
