~Ryeowook's P.O.V~

I woke up early in the morning but couldn't go back to sleep, so I snuck out of my shared room and into the quiet, dimly lit hallway.

From here, I could hear the sizzling of something from the kitchen and could see the soft golden light pouring into the living room.

I quietly walked to the kitchen and saw Jinmee bent over a pan. I wasn't sure if this was a good idea, but I'm still going to do it.

I snuck up behind her and counted to three in my head. When I'd reached three, I slammed my hands on her shoulders.

That was a reallybad idea.

Jinmee turned around and started to hit me with the spatula she held in her small hands. It may have been a plastic spatula, but its wielder might as well have been a baseball player. She was hitting me like I was a fly that stuck around for too long that she was happy to get rid of.

"Yah! Stop hitting me!" I yelled.

"Why should I? Maybe you'll learn not to sneak up on me while I'm holding something," she said.

"Either way, I'd end up being hit!"

"Aish! Next time I'll just start kicking you!"

"I don't think there'll be a next time,"

She puffed out a sigh and turned back to whatever she was making.

"What are you making anyways?" I asked, looking over her shoulder.

"I'm trying to make pancakes again," she said, flipping an almost burned pancake over.

I looked to the plate that held a stack of them. They actually looked edible. I picked one up and taste tested it.

I'm glad I did. If not, I don't think the others would have been able to hold this down.

"What did you put in this? It tastes weird," I asked, transferring what was in my mouth into a napkin.

"Butter, eggs, flour, milk, salt, and baking powder," she said.

I sighed.

"What happened to the sugar?"

"You put sugar in them?"

"I think you should stick to Korean dishes from now on,"

"I think I agree with that,"

She threw out the already made pancakes and pulled out a bag of bread.

"I guess this and eggs will do," she said.

We got to work on making the toast and eggs when I realized something.

"Why are you up so early?" I asked.

"I could ask you the same thing," she said.

"I asked first,"

"I was going to go job hunting. If I'm going to buy another place to live, I'll need the money,"

"You could have just asked me for money when you find a place. I don't mind it. You're my little sister,"

"I can't rely on you all my life Wookie. I'll look for a job and do it myself,"

I sighed in defeat, knowing nothing was getting past that thick skull of hers.

We quickly ate our breakfast in silence. By the time we were done, the other members were starting to wake up and head out to complete schedules.

"I'll go wake up Little Sea and get dressed," Jinmee said leaving the table.

I nodded and turned back to the others at the table.
