~Jinmee's P.O.V~

When I woke up, Ryeowook was no longer there, his spot in the bed vacant.

I sat up and got out of bed myself, walking to the bathroom when I was at least half awake.

My face was discombobulated. The make-up that was once covering the big bruise was now gone and probably smudged onto Ryeowook and my pillow. My eyes were red and swollen. The mascara and eyeliner I was wearing was dried up on my cheeks. To make everything better, my hair looked like a bird nest. It was all tangled and frizzy.

Without thinking twice, I jumped into the shower. Afterwards, I scrubbed my face clean and applied the same make-up I was wearing yesterday with the addition of concealer to try to hide my puffy, red eyes.

Making sure the towel around me was wrapped tightly, I made my way to my room and closed and locked the door shut behind me.

I changed into the black and white shirt Jongjin had given me yesterday and paired it with things that made the outfit doable.

I walked out of my room and to the kitchen when I was done and plopped down in any empty seat I could find.

"Good morning," I said with a smile.

"Good morning. You look better this morning than last morning," Kyu said from directly across from me.

Yesung turned to him and whacked him upside the head, whispering something in his ear right after.

Kyu looked at me and actually apologized before going back to his meal.

I was looking at him curiously when bowls, one with rice and one with soup, were placed in front of me.

"Eat up. Little Sea said he wanted you to eat this so you would do well at work today," Ryeowook said from above me with a smile.

"Well, Little Sea, eomma will work very hard today and bring you back an extra special treat," I said to him.

He cheered climbed over everyone to sit in my lap.

"What will it be?" he asked.

"I can't tell you. It's a secret," I responded.

He pouted cutely before pretending to be mad at me.

"I'll make sure it's extra delicious and bring something to help wash it down," I said.

"Pink lemonade!" he shouted, turning back to me.

"Pink lemonade it is,"

When he let out another cheer, everyone laughed at his behavior, commenting how cute and energetic he was even though it was so early in the morning.

After I'd shoved my breakfast down my throat, I got up and placed Donghae in my seat.

"I'll get going now so I can be home early this time," I said to the men sitting at the table.

"How are you going to get there?" Yesung asked.

"Taxi. And Ryeowook, don't even try to talk me out of it. It won't work. I'm back to stubborn Jinmee," I said, pointing to Ryeowook who had opened his mouth to say something.

He sighed and turned back to his breakfast.

I gave Donghae and Ryeowook tight hugs before throwing on my shoes and heading all the way downstairs to catch a taxi.

"Why is she so stubborn?" Ryeowook asked.

"Who knows? It's just who she is," Siwon, who stayed at the dorm more often now because of our comeback, said.
