"She was my wife, Alucard!" Granger roared after throwing a painful punch across his fellow demon hunter's face. Alucard was thrown off his footing, accidentally pushing a chair off in the process. "And as much as I hated you, I considered you my fucking friend! You don't know how bad I want to kill you right now."

"Heh," Alucard laughs mockingly as he shuffles back to his feet. "Let's see if you can without your pathetic gun and guitar then. Oh, and with that parasite sucking the life out of you, I'm sure you've already drained all your energy with that punch..."

Seething, Granger grits his teeth. He could feel the demon inside of him awakening, giving him power to fight. Alucard stopped laughing when he sees the white-haired man's thin stature was growing muscles and veins. It was impossible not to see the intensifying of his red eyes as well, they almost look like they were blood red.

"You know what happens if you kill me," Alucard said, unsheathing his infamous collosal sword. "You'll never be a Hunter again!"

"I don't care!" Granger growled and he was emphasizing every word he was uttering. "You ruined my family. It's only right for me to kill you!"

"What is that?" One of the priests from the convent throw his head back, sensing a tremor. "Is that... an earthquake?" The whole classroom shakes again, flakes of debris falling from the ceiling foundation. An inhumane growl follows suit, causing the orphaned children to begin screaming and run through the door.

"It's a demon!" One of the students said, holding onto her seatmate in fear.

The bell of the church was rung. Everyone in the Monastery was set in pandemonium, throwing questions on what was going on and where was the demonic presence coming from. The Hunters gathered in the main courtyard for a brief meeting.

"Do you think one of the demons imprisoned underground managed to break free?"

"Terizla has escaped!"

"It's coming from upstairs!"

"Everyone, silence!" The attending Grandmaster demanded on the podium. "Whatever has invaded us, we will lock it up in the dungeon. So to anyone who dares to kill it, will face greater punishment than this demon, got it?"

"Affirmative!" The Hunters replied in a collected uproar.

Among the crowd of armed apprentices and mentors alike, Eden was standing at the balls of her feet, lifting her head high as she looks around for Patch. "You bastard better not be the first casualty," she breathed out, dreadfully.

- - -

"Holy fuck!" Patch was awoken with a mini heart attack from his nap. It seems the balcony doors have been torn off in a single blow from their large metal hinges. But by what?

He immediately stands up, staring at the doorway wide-eyed and investigates the balcony. The balcony was empty and only the aftermath of a fight could be found. The wooden table and chairs were amputated from their structural form and blood was smeared on the thin edges of their sticks as if someone was trying to murder someone.

A band of heavy footsteps fade in from the stairs at the end of the hall. A moment later, Patch was being interrogated by the older Hunters as they investigate the balcony as well and declare it a crime scene.

"Who were fighting? Were they one of us?" The attending detective asked.

"Yes," Patch answered. When asked who the people responsible were, Patch seemed to be hesitating until the detective assured he wasn't in trouble. "Alucard and Granger. They were fighting, because Alucard betrayed him and... well, it's not my place to explain further."
