"Are you sure you two will be okay together?"

The day of Jake's appointment arrived, and it was time for Jake to meet the doctor. Hyuna was worried about leaving the two to go in alone, because at the time they were called in, Hyuna was called by one of her business partners, and it seemed urgent.

"We'll be fine, don't worry," Jake smiled. "Besides, it's just a check-up. I'll call you if things need an adult."

Hyuna looked at her phone, which still had the call running, and sighed softly before running her hand through Jake's hair lightly. "I'll see you later."

Hyuna walked away from them and walked down the stairs while putting the phone to her ear. Jake looked at Sunghoon, smiling rather nervously. Sunghoon gave him a much stronger smile before gently kissing Jake's forehead. "Hey... it's gonna be okay. Let's go."

Jake smiled, taking Sunghoon's hand in his own and walking down the corridor. "Yeah... it'll be okay."

"But I said the order had to be made for 110 hard paper cuts. The error is on your side."

"Ma'am, the error is being resolved, don't worry. But the order needs to be rectified by cancelling this order, and then make another order."

"But there's a cancellation fee! I can't pay the cancellation fee if I don't make money from the prints. Doesn't that sound a little funny to you?" Hyuna was beyond irritated at that point and sighed heavily. "Look, just print that 50, and then print the other 60 as a seperate order, but ship it together."

"I'll see what I can do."

"Thank you. Enjoy your day further."

"You too."

Hyuna hung up and sighed softly to herself. She needed to relax, and the smell of the hospital wasn't going to help that at all. Jake said they'd be okay together, so she decided to go to a cafe to order something to help calm her nerves. A cafe was easy to spot, since there were so many anyways, and made a quick beeline to it.

But then she saw her soulmate sitting by the window with a few other boys, and wondered if she should find a different cafe to go to.

"You found your soulmate?"

"So that was the girl on your Instagram."

"Is she hot?"

"Is she older than you?"

Jay wouldn't really admit it, but the fact that he and Hyuna had found each other and eventually started dating made him somehow proud amongst his friends. Albeit asexual, he wasn't aromantic and would still date. He still loved Hyuna - just not in a way one would expect. Except that his friends now knew he was in a relationship and his ego inflated significantly.

"She's a noona," Jay nodded. "She owns a small business too, and she's gorgeous. I feel stupid about it sometimes, but... I'm surprised I ended up with her."

"Wow, she must be amazing," one of his friends, Doyum, hummed in thought. "I mean, based on your company, I thought you'd end up with a guy."

"You're literally my only gay friend," Jay chuckled, shaking his head. "Well, Hyuna's brother also ended up with a guy, but I don't know his exact sexuality. Anyways, she's nearby today, I wonder if we'll see her..."

"I doubt you have a girlfriend," Yedam hummed, crossing his arms. "You just seem so... single. I'm sorry, but... I don't believe you."

"No, I've seen her - they were together on his Instagram recently," Jinsung said, shaking his head. "She's pretty. Like, really pretty."

Jay was smiling smugly, but Yedam didn't fail to express his disbelief. Jay sighed, raising an eyebrow when his phone screen turned on, showing a message. He read the preview that stated 'look outside'. With a frown, he looked out the window, and his expression brightened immediately.

"Noona," he said excitedly, standing up from the chair. He quickly excused himself, walking straight to the girl that stood on the sidewalk with her phone in her hands. Hyuna looked exceptionally pretty, and it made him wonder why Hyuna was all dressed up.

"I didn't expect to see you here," Hyuna hummed, a small smile decorating her lips. "A day out with your friends?"

"Well," Jay began, "you said you were coming to the hospital today, so I arranged to be close by with my friends so that I can prove that I have the most beautiful soulmate in South Korea. Also, I wanted to meet like this - accidentally."

Hyuna rolled her eyes, laughing slightly. "Oh, wow. Well, I'm here now, but I'm only going to get a coffee and speed off again, because I'm with Jake at the hospital."

"Oh, you can come here to Been," Jay said excitedly, taking Hyuna's hand in his own. "I kind of want to brag about you to my friends."

Hyuna rolled her eyes as he dragged her to the cafe. "Yah, Park Jongseong, you're really childish." She was smiling, however. She didn't really want to be a trophy girlfriend, but there was some sort of feeling that came with being bragged about. Jay still held her hand as he showed her to his friends.

"Guys," Jay announced excitedly, "this is my girlfriend, Sim Hyuna. Noona, this is Bang Yedam, Kang Minhee, Doyummie and his boyfriend Jinsung."

"Oh, hello," the boys greeted back rather messily, since they were in shock. Jay seemed so excited, but Hyuna was nervous. She let out a little squeak and his her face with her hands as she laughed.

"Ah, I'm embarrassed," she laughed. "It's nice to neet some of Jay's friends, I always thought he was a loner."

"Ah, noona," Jay complained, pouting slightly. "I'm not a loner. You should get your coffee, then you can wait here for it."

Hyuna hummed, stepping forward to kiss Jay's cheek. The American boy widened his eyes, his cheeks burning for a second. Hyuna laughed slightly, pinching his cheek. "You're too cute, honestly. But I'm busy right now, okay? I promise we'll see each other soon. Okay, Jongseong-ah?"

Jay subtly glanced at his friends and nodded. "Okay. I'll call you later, okay?"

Jay felt so proud to be with her, and he knew it's what she deserved as a woman.

The universe definitely wouldn't pull them apart.

But let's check on Sunghoon and Jake.
