Please stay! (Hawks x reader?)

Chapter 22

Keigo:

"I see. So, that's how it is."

Immediately after knowing your location, Keigo flew to where you were and perched on top of a nearby tree that perfectly hides him from the guards but still gives him a good view of the whole estate especially of your bedroom window. 

The sun had already set and he could almost make out your silhouette in the dark room sitting on the bed facing the window.

With his eyes still focused on your shadowed figure, he made a quick phone call to his assistant.

Keigo:

"Rina-chan, send the sidekicks to the house. Tell them to do some 'clean-up'."

Rina:

"On it."

She responded to the order before Keigo dropped the call.

Earlier that evening, while you were in the dining room with the Unubore's, he deployed a feather to infiltrate the mansion and was able to pick up the conversation that you've had. To think that these people would subject you to this kind of situation angered him.

Keigo flew down to where his team were hiding behind trees and bushes, among them was your bestfriend of course.

Keigo:

"Let's go."

His team:
"Yes, sir!"

They responded in unison as they made their way to save you.

Back at the mansion.

You were sitting on the edge of the bed when a knock on the door interrupted your thoughts.

The maid from earlier was standing in the now open door way.

Maid:
"Miss, the Masters have requested your presence. Please follow me."

She exited the room without waiting for you.

'What is up with this person? Well, I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Her 'Masters'  also seems to have a few screws loose.'

You sighed, pushed yourself off the bed and followed the maid.

She led you down the same corridor toward the dining room, but apparently, they're waiting for you at a different room as you saw the maid pass by the large door of the dining area.

You wanted to ask her where she's taking you but chose not to. You weren't so sure if she'd tell since she seems a little bit shady. So, you just followed quietly.

The mansion was definitely huge when you noticed that you've already turned at the 4th corner now.

'Where the heck is she taking me?'

You were starting to get nervous as to where you were heading and what awaits you.

The maid finally stopped and stood beside a door.

Maid:
"Right this way, miss."

She announced before opening the door.

What you saw definitely gave you the creeps. The door didn't lead to a room but a staircase that seemed to lead to an underground facility or dungeon. Honestly, you wouldn't be surprised if there really was a dungeon there.

The maid began to descend the stairs and you cautiously followed behind her, staying alert incase something jumps out at you. 

When you reached the bottom of the stairs, you can see that it led to a dingy narrow passageway.
