Please stay! (Hawks x reader?)

Chapter 11

The ride back to UA was quiet. None of you uttered a single word.

It was already 1:00 AM when you arrived at the dormitories. All the lights in the building were off. The silence gave Kirishima an unsettling feeling as you walked in.

Kirishima:

"Wow, the dorm looks so creepy at night."

Todoroki:

"It is already 1:00 in the morning after all. Everybody's already asleep by now."

You also scanned the common room as he made this comment. It did look scary at night like a ghost could jump out any second. This made you hug yourself as you felt a chill run down your spine. You wanted to scold Kirishima for saying that, but the night's events drained your energy that you didn't feel like talking. Right now, all you wanted to do was get out of your dress, take a bath, curl up in bed, and cry.

The three of you continued to walk the hallway leading to your rooms. You walked ahead of the two men, still wrapping your arms around your slouched form.

Kirishima:

"I hate seeing her like this."

Todoroki:

"Me too."

Seeing you this way was new to them and it broke their hearts. They know you as someone who likes to laugh, make jokes, and have fun with your friends despite your aloofness at first. But tonight revealed a side of you that they decided they do not want to see.

You finally reached your room. You grabbed the door handle and turned around to see if Todoroki and Kirishima were still behind you since you didn't hear them bid you goodnight. And to your surprise, they were still there. They walked you to your room and you thought it was sweet of them to do so.

Kirishima:

"Goodnight, y/n."

Todoroki:

"Make sure you get some sleep."

They both gave you a small smile as you twisted the knob and push the door open. You responded with a small nod, trying to smile before entering your room and gently closing the door. 

Saturday morning.

The sun rays seeping from your drawn curtains woke you up. You looked for your phone beside your pillow to check the time, but it wasn't there. Grumbling, you got out of bed and head to your desk only to find that it wasn't there too. You started to get worried until you remembered you left your clutch on your table at the restaurant last night.

'Great! Now I have to call dad or Onii-chan if they have my bag. I don't want to talk to anyone right now.'

You thought, facepalming, as you trudged out of your room. There's no point in going back to sleep now since you were already awake.

You head down to the common room and saw your classmates having breakfast and lounging. Mina Ashido was the first one to greet you.

Mina:

"Y/N! Ohayo!"

She said in a cheery voice as she ran up to you. 

Your grouchy disposition in the morning was no longer a surprise to your classmates. However, your grouchy disposition this morning was not your usual grouch. All your classmates noticed this and looked at you with worry.

Mina:

"How was the party? What time did you get home last night?"

She asked in a less cheerful voice as you made your way to the kitchen counter to grab a bottle of water and sat down at the dining table, not responding to her question and not making eye contact.
