The scent that lingered in the air was how you always smelled and it made Keigo's heart flutter as he entered your bedroom. He knew this feeling all too well and it frightened him and the fact that you two are now engaged did not help at all.

'Tch!'

Like you, he also feared the uncertainty that this arrangement could bring, and not being able to talk with you only added to his anxiety. He needed to see you, to talk to you.

He hurried towards your desk to grab your cellphone that was left there by your mother. After grabbing your phone he wanted to leave immediately for UA to check up on you, but his attention was caught by the picture frame that was placed beside your computer monitor.

It was a picture of the both of you grinning at the camera, his arms wrapped around your shoulder and yours around his waist while the both of you made a peace sign with your free hand.

It was taken on the day of your middle school graduation. He remembered that you were pouting with tears falling down your face. You were sad because most of your friends were going to different schools and you were the only one aiming for UA Academy.

After the ceremony, your parents brought you to your favorite place as a way to celebrate and to cheer you up. When it was time go home, your dad wanted to take your photo. So, you and Keigo stood beside each other, arm in arm, and smiled.

I didn't specify y/n favorite place because you guys may have your own favorite place to go to spend time with your family. :)

Keigo smiled at this memory, however, his smile quickly faded upon remembering the content of the paper that your dad showed him.

'Do not think for one second that we have given up after you made your foolish announcement, Doctor. We will have your daughter and we will use force. Your resistance is futile. You and your family will regret the day you defied us.'

This was what the note said.

Keigo couldn't believe that this is happening to your family. Those people have been pestering your father to have you married off to their family since before you came of age. But knowing their kind, your father would rather die than having to agree to their terms and so was he.

He swore to you, to your parents, and himself that he won't let those people have their way.

Putting the picture down, he walked out of your room and head to UA.

Back at your dormitory room in UA Academy.

The three of you, Mina, Kirishima, and yourself, were sprawled on your bedroom floor as you began to plan your slumber party for next weekend.

Kirishima:

"I didn't know planning a slumber party could be this tedious."

Sighing as he leaned back, supporting himself with his hands, obviously exhausted from all the party planning.

Y/N:

"Right! I'm going down to get food. I forgot I haven't had breakfast yet."

You stood up and head for the door.

Y/N:

"Do you guys want anything?"

Mina:

"Nah, I'm good. Thanks, y/n."
