chapter 6

Three days went by since the beach day, and I kind of avoided my friends since then. I know I shouldn't, but all I seem to do was stare at Jihyo and think about her the whole time all ten of us were together and it didn't feel right. I didn't want to look like some idiotic weirdo creep, so I want to lay low for awhile from them.

"Hey shorty!" A big hand ruffled my hair and patted my head roughly before pushing me to the side. I slowly looked to my side to see my brother beside me. I should be use to this, but I wasn't. Not in the slightest.

"Listen yoongi!" I yelled fixing my hair and pushing him back. Well tried. "Just cause you're older doesn't mean squat! Why bug me today. And you are only four inches taller than Siyeon and I. We can still beat your ass little man." I grabbed my cereal and stomped to the living room to get some peace and quiet.

"Whats with you this morning? All I hear is you yelling. Don't you have friends to hang out with?" I looked up to see my sister and Sua walked down the stairs. "But what you said to Yoongi was the best thing ever!"

"I could say the same about you considering you're always home. Do you have any other friends beside Sua?" My sister's jaw dropped and she looked over at Sua who did her best to stiffle a chuckle.

"Whats wrong, Y/n?" Sua took the seat beside me on the couch and wrapped an arm around me. "Why aren't you with the girls today? You're always with them." Siyeon groaned and sat beside Sua.

"Not really in the mood to go out today. Don't you have those feelings when you just want to be alone sometimes? That's how I feel today." I took a spoonful of my fruit loops and shrugged. "Is it a crime?" Sua giggled and shook her head.

"Of course not. But if you need me, you know where to find me." She stood up and took my sister's hand and they both descended into the kitchen.

After watching three episodes of a show i was trying to finish, the door bell rang, and my heart raced against my chest and down to my stomach. I had a feeling it was probably Chaeyoung. Siyeon came into the living room to answer the door but stopped  when she noticed me standing there.

"Wait! Siyeon!" I walked closer to her and yanked her to the side. She snatched her arm away and gave me a face.

"What is your problem?" She whispered. I peeked from behind the blinds and saw Chaeyoung.

"Please tell her I'm not home. I'm sick and I'm with mom. She's giving me a check up or something. Please." I whispered and dropped to my knees pleading to my sister. "I don't ask for to much. Please! I'll be in Tiffany's room hiding."

"Fine. But you owe me." She growled through gritted teeth. I nodded my head and raced up stairs to my older sister Tiffany's room to look out the window. No one goes up here since she left to college, so it was a really good hiding spot if Chaeyoung goes looking for me.

The voices were muffled so I didn't bother trying to listen, but I can see Chaeyoung talking to Siyeon. Then my eyes trailed over to Jihyo's house. All the girls were there. My friends, all gathered around in Jihyo's backyard laughing and talking away. My eyes just looking over at Jihyo who laughed along at something Dahyun was saying.  This was going to be hard.

"She's gone." I looked back at my sister and nodded walking over to go to my room.

"Thank you." I mumbled.

"I don't know whats eating you, but you know you eventually have to talk to them. Those are your friends. You and Chaeyoung are inseparable." Siyeon spoke as I passed her walking out of Tiffany's room.

"Like you said, eventually. Just not now." I went into my room and stayed there till my mom got home.

"So...I got a little surprise, and I need you three to do whatever to help me get this house clean before Saturday." My mom spoke before taking a sip of her water. We were currently having take out from some restaurant that my mom loved to go to.

"Can we know what the surprise is?" Yoongi asked before taking a fork full of noodles into his mouth.

"No. I really want to surprise you three. So, I need you guys to please help me with keeping the house really clean." I looked around the dining room and raised a brow.

"The house is always clean though, mom. What mess?" I chuckled.

"Right! We try to keep the house as clean as possible since you're always at work. We want you to come home to a clean house." That was true. Siyeon made sure she had the house clean for mom always at the hospital. Even Yoongi helped with dinner from time to time.

"I know. I know. I'm just nervous for the surprise. Just thinking about it makes me...ah!" I raised a brow again as my mom yelled happily.  She never really acted this way so this surprise was probably pretty huge.

"Does this surprise have a time? Saturday is in like two days?" My mom smiled at me then at my siblings.

"In the morning. So, if there is plans with friends, or girlfriends" she looked at Siyeon. "I'm sorry, but you would have to cancel. Ok?" Yoongi and I  looked at Siyeon who pouted softly.

"No Sua?" I rolled my eyes. It was like my sister needed Sua to breathe, to go on with life, or something and that is what I didn't want to happen to me. I don't have time to even think. "But mom! She just got back from visiting family, I haven't seen her in like a month!"

"And since she's been back, she's practically here all the time. You guys need a break. A day isn't going to kill you!" Yoongi mumbled.

"Oh shut up! You're always out with friends to! But we don't say anything!" Siyeon exclaimed punching yoongi in the arm. My mom said and I could help but roll my eyes.

"Don't do this now." My mom warned.

"What about Y/n!? No Chaeyoung? No other friends right?" I snapped my head at yoongi who was looking at our mother. I hate it when they bring me into their arguments even when I don't say shit. Like they need me to get in trouble to or something.

"I haven't said anything!" I yelled. "Besides its fine. One day won't kill us. Count me in."
