"You ok?" Chaeyoung asked as she walked into the kitchen. "Hey mom!" My mom smiled at her and motioned her to sit beside me.

"Good morning Chaeyoung. You hungry?" Chaeyoung nodded which cause my mom to laugh and prepare her a plate of French toast.

"You here early? Why?" I whispered over to my best friend before I took a bite of my breakfast. She looked over at me and shrugged.

"I was going to come yesterday to see how the date went, but I stood over at Mina's and lost track of time." She spoke taking a strawberry from my plate. "So? Pink Goddess?" I rolled my eyes before continuing on eating.

"You to with the nickname?" She chuckled at me and nodded. "Her hair isn't pink anymore."

"It suits her though." Chaeyoung shrugged. "You can't tell me it doesn't. Plus I got use to it." I nodded agreeing with her. "Anyway. You guys have plans for later or what?"

"Don't know. She's going to talk to Daniel today." She raised a brow in confusion before thanking my mother for her plate of breakfast.

"Daniel? Didn't he break up with her though?" I nodded drinking some orange juice. "Then why is she going to talk to him for? Unless she wants him back?" My eyes shifted over at Chaeyoung and I could feel my cheeks heating up.

"No. I don't think so." I lost my appetite and pushed my half eaten French toast to the side. "Don't make me question things I don't want Chaeng. I'm already on edge that she wants to talk to him. I can't tell her what to do." Chaeyoung's face soften as she placed her fork down.

"I'm sorry, Y/N. I didn't mean it like that." I shook my head at her to forget about it.

She then continued to eat as I sat beside her and just looked out the window to Jihyo's house. I don't want to think about Daniel trying to get back with Jihyo, but it's possible he wants to. Jihyo's a really great person, so losing someone like her in your life must feel tragic.

At school, Jihyo did her best to avoid Daniel only because she had me beside her most of the time. I'd move over to stand beside Nayeon or any of the other girls, and she'd follow me. I liked it, but if she wanted to talk to Daniel, she should have done it already. It's making me anxious just waiting around.

"Y/n. Are you any good at taking pictures?" Yerin asked me as she sat in Jihyo's seat. I raised a brow at her but shrugged answering her question. "I trust you more than anyone in this class. I have to put together a camera team or a crew. Whatever it's called. To take pictures for the upcoming events. It's for the yearbook." I nodded at her getting closer to her as she opened a folder that read camera crew. She wrote down my name at the top of the list.

"Am I the only one on the list?" She nodded at me before handing me a badge with yearbook on it, a laminated hall pass, and a camera bag.

"I was hoping to give one to Jihyo aswell, but she's not here yet." Right when Yerin said that, the bell rang and our year book teacher walked in closing the door behind her. I sighed to myself knowing Jihyo was probably with Daniel.

"Ms." Yerin raised her hand trying to grab the teachers attention. "Y/n and I are going to take some pictures." She nodded at Yerin.

"Theres no events right now." I spoke up as we closed the door behind us.

"I know there isn't. But I like taking pictures of people during class and stuff. It's like still moments. Memories Y/n." She spoke in a duh tone. I nodded and followed her out to the court yard.

A few students were scattered around. Some who had free period, and others who had hall passes with them. I never noticed people hung out here during classes and I found it fascinating.

"Y/n!" Momo screeched running towards me. She opened her arms wide and engulfed me into her embrace. "What are you doing?"

"Yearbook. I'm with Yerin taking some pictures. What about you? Aren't you supposed to be in physics or something?" I asked trying to remember her schedule. Honestly it was a blur.

"Yup, I was just walking around looking for a vending machine." I raised a brow at her and nodded. "I have to go. See you after your soccer practice?" I nodded at her and watched as she scurried away.

"It's non of my business, but she lied to you I hope you know that." I turned around and was met with Yerin taking a picture of some students sitting around by the flag pole.

"What do you mean?" I asked stepping in front of her view. She snapped a picture of me and I couldn't help but smile and pose for another. I threw a thumbs up, then another pose with the peace sign.

"Look at her. She's walking along side Heechul. He's known as Mr. Gentleman around the school." She was right even though I couldn't see his face. Momo was walking alongside a boy in a football jersey. "If you're worried about your friend she's ok. Heechul is a really sweet senior." I nodded.

"If you say she's ok, then shes ok." Yerin chuckled at me and motioned me to follow her. I was like her assistant. "Where are we going now?" She didn't say much, but knowing the path she was taking, we were going to the football field.

We stayed there for awhile taking pictures of the boys soccer team, and the jv football team practice. It was fun and it was 10x better then being in class.

10 minutes till class was over. So instead of heading back, Yerin walked me to practice talking about a school dance coming up and that we had to go to take pictures. Of course I told her it was fine, but I don't usually go to dances. They weren't my thing.

"Do you want to ditch practice?" She asked suddenly and I was taken back. I hated ditching practice. If I missed more than a few days, I get lazy and I would have to work harder, and I didn't want that.

"What? Why would I ditch? I have a game Friday. Coach would kill me." I chuckled. She looked at me sadly and turned me around towards the bleachers. Jihyo was leaning against the fence and Daniel was on the other side of it looking at her as if he was flirting with her.

"I know they're still together but it doesn't bother you that-" I stopped her from talking as I spun around quickly.

"What do you mean still together?" She raised a brow confusedly at me with her hands up in defense.

"You're her friend aren't you?" This had me thinking.

"They broke up." I whispered turning around to look at Jihyo. She just looked like she was talking to him.

"If it's true, then they haven't made it public. You know that when they started dating, everyone knew. Maybe it's no big deal." Yerin tried to make me feel better but my mood was escalating down. My chest felt like it was in pain but I needed to show Yerin I was ok.

"If they haven't said anything, then don't mention what I said, ok?" She nodded at me sadly. "Keep this between us." Jihyo smiled. What does that mean though? If only I knew what she was talking about.

After practice, I went home feeling sluggish and heartbroken. I don't want to over think anything, but then again, if she did go back with him, I couldn't say nothing. All I can do was fight for her, but what if she doesn't want me to anymore. This was really stressing me out.

"Hey, Y/n." I smiled at my sister and Suho who were cuddled up in the couch watching a movie. "Jihyo came looking for you. I told her you were at practice." I nodded at my sister and slowly walked over to the stairs.

"If she comes back, tell her I'm asleep please. Practice really kicked my ass today and all I want to do is sleep." I lied. Tiffany sat up confusedly and tilted her head. She looked concerned.

"Are you ok?" I nodded at her with a smile so she didn't have to worry.

"Yeah I'll be fine after I rest." I threw her a thumbs up before walking up to my room.

Tonight, I decided not to do my homework like I usually did. I just wanted to go to bed and sleep. Hopefully forget about the fuck up day I had and dream about something other than Jihyo.
