chapter 3

"She's pretty." You looked at your friend Sana as she grabbed a box from the uhaul with Jihyo's name written in huge letters. "You think so?" She turned towards you with a smile and chuckled like a small child.

"Yeah. I guess." You rolled your eyes and took the boxes with Rosé's name written on it.

Your friends, and your brothers friends, decided to stay and help. So it was easier and faster to move them into their home.

"Is that mine!?" Rosé yelled happily as you entered her room. "Can you put it on my bed please?" I nodded and sat it down on her bed looking around her room. She began unpacking some stuff and setting things around her room.

"I'm gonna go check if there's more boxes." You spoke before you left but was stopped by Rosé grabbing your arm.

"Wait! Can you help me put this up?" She lifted her hands to reveal two hooks that attach to the wall, and white metal grid panels. "They're for my pictures."

"Sure." She smiled happily again and handed you the hooks.

"Great! Just let me get the hammer from Jihyo's room." You nodded and watched as she ran out her room and into Jihyo's who was right across.

You peeked over to see Sana, Dahyun, Momo, and Chaeyoung in the room with Jihyo. They were helping her put things away and such.

"Move it or lose it!" You looked out the hallway to find your other friend Jeongyeon, Nayeon, Mina, and Tzuyu holding boxes to put in Jihyo's room.

"Rude." You groaned and Jeongyeon simply laughed at you before entering the room.

"Let's go!" Rosé came back, with the hammer in her hand, and some pictures in the other.

"Where would you like it?" You spoke with a smile and looked around her room at all the empty wall space.

"Here! Right here!" She pointed to a spot by her dresser. "When I get ready in the morning, I want to be able to see my family first." You nodded once and began to hammer the hooks into the wall.

After you were done, she began to clip pictures of herself, her mom, her and Jimin, and her and Jihyo. Some pictures looked recent, and others looked like they were pretty old. There was one picture that stood out of an older guy, that looked like an older version of Jimin.

"Is that your dad?" You asked softly scared if it was a touchy subject or not. But she didn't seem bothered at all by it.

"Yeah. He passed away when I was three, Jimin four, and Jihyo two. We don't remember much about him. Just that he was our dad and he loved us very much. We have an angel watching us." She smiled at the picture and then over at you. You smiled back.

You didn't know your dad either. You never saw pictures of him and never heard anyone mention him. You had asked your mom when you were younger what happened to him for a school project about a family tree, but she'd say he was gone and she hadn't heard from him. Since then, you'd never cared to ask about him.

"See you later Jihyo!" Sana exclaimed happily as the Park's stood outside to walk us out.

"Bye, Y/n!" You looked up and smiled at Rosé. You waved at her and the rest of her family before going inside your house, with your friends following closely behind.

"Sua left!" You heard Siyeon yelled as she threw herself on the couch with a sullen pout.

"You know she has a home to, right? And parents to go to. Besides, she slept over yesterday. " Siyeon stood up slightly to just glare at you. She flipped you off before sinking deeper into the couch. "Let's leave Siyeon to be sad on her own. To my room?"

"It's been a month since summer started, and the most fun we've had was helping your neighbors move in." Momo whined rushing to lay on your bed before Sana and Nayeon did.

"I thought breakfast the other day was fun." Tzuyu spoke reminding us of the breakfast we had together not that long ago to celebrate her birthday. "Besides, its only been a month. We still have two months and like two weeks."

"Tzuyu is right. Let's just make the last months together count and memorable." Dahyun yelled standing on top of your bed and looking around the room at your friends, then at you.

The next day, you felt your bed dipped multiple times in the morning. As if someone was laying beside you. You ignored it as you were to tired to do anything about it. You just wanted sleep from all that exercise yesterday helping the Park's with the move.

"Don't worry Jihyo. She won't mind you're in here." You heard your friend Nayeon say. Your eyes slowly opened to be met with Momo's eyes staring right back at you. This was normal. Your friends always tried their hardest to find new ways to wake you up, just to piss you off.

"Hello!" She greeted you with the most cheerful tone. You groaned and turned over just to be met with Sana. You rolled your eyes and hid under your covers.

"Your mom let us in." Chaeyoung chuckled and laid on top of you.

"I thought I was going to get some sleep. I guess not." You moaned slightly irritated, but you couldn't be mad at your friends. They were basically your life line.

"Sleeping is for the weak!" Jeongyeon shouted before jumping on you and Chaeyoung. "Get up! Jihyo's here and we have alot to do and alot of places to show her!" You peeked out the blanket and towards your door to find Jihyo looking slightly awkward but held a genuine smile at us. She waved and said a small hello.

"Hi." Chaeyoung poked your cheek as you spoke. She teased you and chuckled at you as if she knew your secret.

"Did you guys force her here? Cause you girls can be very brutal. I'm sorry for my friends." You spoke towards her. Mina snapped her head towards you feeling offended. She rarely spoke and was the complete opposite from the others.

"No. No. It's ok." She chuckled. You felt the thumping in your heart stop slightly. Her laugh was like music to your ears. Like a sweet song that wanted to be played over and over again.

"See! We're not bad." Dahyun glared at you and you smiled laying back down.

"No! Don't do that!" Jeongyeon cried pulling you out of bed and on to the floor with a thump. "We have a busy day!" She yelled shaking you and playfully slapping you.

"OK! OK! Just let me shower and get ready." The room erupted in cheers as your friends were happy. "Help me up first!" Jeongyeon took your hand and pulled you up.

"We'll meet you downstairs. Siyeon is doing breakfast!" Chaeyoung shouted happily before closing the door to let you do your thing.
