The sun beamed down harshly as my eyes opened. I looked around my surroundings, and almost forgot I was in a tent. I turned over so the sun wasn't hitting my face, and was met with a sleeping Jihyo.
Her features where out of this world. I swear she wasn't human. She was beautiful beyond words even asleep. Peaceful and so delicate.
"Why me." I muttered low so I wouldn't wake the pink goddess.
Why me indeed. Why did I have to like. Why did she have this affect on me. Why did she have to come here and move next to me. There were hundreds of places she could've moved to. But no.
"Wake up!!" I instantly closed my eyes as Dahyun's voice boomed outside. I felt Jihyo began to move. "Y/n! Jihyo! Up!?" Dahyun shook the tent and ran over to the next one.
"Y/n. Wake up." I opened my eyes slowly and felt a poke on my nose. Jihyo smiled and poked me again. "We have to get up." She whispered.
"I don't want to." She chuckled closing her eyes again.
"If you're not getting up, neither am I." She opened an eye as I stared at her. "Don't stare am ugly in the mornings." I scoffed at her and stared up at the ceiling of the tent.
"I don't know who told you that lie." I sat up stretched as I began looking for my phone. "Are you coming?" I looked over at her to see her just staring at me. Her eyes looked soft and sweet at the same time, but it worried me. "You ok Jihyo?"
"You don't think I'm ugly?" I raised my brow at her in confusion. "I mean. Nevermind."
"Who told you, you were ugly!?" I snapped. "That person probably has vision problems or something. Don't let people like that get to you. You're beautiful Hyo." Her cheeks turned red and I mentally yelled in my head of cute she was. Did I just make her blush?
"Y/n thank you." She launched herself on top of me and hugged me tightly. I guess she's just a hugger. "We should go." She pulled away and crawled out of the tent, leaving me to my thoughts. I hate this effect she has on me.

"We're going hiking to the lake! Want to come?" Jihyo asked me as the girls began to walk away from the cabin, except for Chaeyoung who was helping me clean around the campsite.
"You girls go ahead. I'm going to help Chaeyoung." I smiled and handed her a water bottle. "Stay hydrated." She pouted and I nearly lost it.
"Are you sure?" I nodded. She shrugged and then followed the girls. Once I knew she was gone, the case of water bottles that was beside me was getting kicked. By me of course.
"I was the same way with Mina. Frustrated whenever she did something cute, because all I wanted to do was kiss her." Chaeyoung walked over to me and sighed patting at my shoulder. "So if you want to kick things, go ahead. Throw things? I'll throw things with you so you're not alone. Yell? Go ahead. We're in the middle of the woods. Nobody is going to hear you." When Chaeyoung finished talking, I wrapped my arms around her and cried on her shoulder.
Chaeyoung was honestly my best friend. Someone I knew who was going to be around by my side for a long time. I owe so much.
"I hate this!" I cried out. She patted my back and held me tighter. "I feel like shit half the time. This whole summer with her has been hell." I sobbed. "But I love it."
This summer has been the most difficult summer ever. But I somehow wouldn't trade it for the world. It was a pain to hang out with someone who I knew wouldn't like me the same way I did, but I loved that her and I had this special bond together. She said so herself that she felt closer to me than the girls.
"I'm just happy that you're finally talking and opening up to me. I know we're best friends and all, but you tend to put others before yourself. You lock your feelings away and it makes me sad because I don't want you bottling up your feelings then exploding. Jihyo brought out your feelings, even though she doesn't know. Its a good thing. " Chaeyoung rubbed my back and just held me.
"Lets clean and then go inside. I want to lay down for away." Chaeyoung nodded and pulled away.

I don't remember when I fell asleep or when the girls came in, but I opened my eyes to be met with Jihyo. I blinked a few times to adjust my eyes and looked around the room. I was in the cabin.
"You feeling better? Chaeng said you didn't feel to good. I wanted to come check on you." I sat up and sighed.
"What time is it?" I asked looking out the window. The sun was still out.
"Its 3:25." I peeked at Jihyo's phone and saw a picture of her and her siblings. "You had a few hours extra of sleep!" She giggled. "You hungry? We're making sandwiches." I shook my head and smiled.
"No thanks, Hyo. But thanks for checking on me." I patted her shoulder and jumped off the bed. "Everyone downstairs?" She nodded at me slowly before I left to go downstairs.
"Sana! You dropped the ketchup!" Dayhun yelled as I entered the kitchen. The girls were there currently making their sandwiches. "You're lucky it didn't get on the carpet!"
"Good afternoon!" Nayeon said in a teasing tone. "You ok?" I nodded and sat by her resting my head on Mina who was busy eating.
"Another hike after lunch?" Jeongyeon asked looking around and staring at me.
"Yes!! Cause I didn't go to the last one!" Chaeyoung screamed dropping her sandwich on her plate.
"Are you feeling up to going this time? You don'thave to if you still feel uneasy." Sana asked handing me a sandwich. I smiled at her and thanked her for the food.
"No, I'll go. I'm excited to see what I missed out." The girls nodded with smiles.
"So I finally figured out who Kang Daniel is. Why didn'tyou want to tell us?"
Last night, the girls wanted to know who in the hell Daniel was. Jihyo didn't want to say anything yet, so I succeeded in changing the subject as fast as I could.
Jeongyeon spoke up after a moment of silence. "He's a senior at our school. Not that bad looking."
"No wonder the name sounded so familiar. Isn't he the guy that Y/n's sister Siyeon had to study with that one time, so he came over the house?" Momo asked. The girls stopped and immediately looked at me. Especially Jihyo.
"If he is, I don't remember." I shrugged. "I don't pay attention to everyone that my siblings bring over."
"Well anyways. You like him?" Nayeon then leaned over to Jihyo and smiled. "Have you gone out with him? Like a date?"
"Uh...not yet. He did ask me when I got back he wants to take me to one." I didn't know I clutching my cup until Chaeyoung called for me. I shook my head softly, and looked up at her.
"Help me get my walking shoes from Your truck please?" Chaeyoung was my life saver. "You ok there buddy?" She asked as we walked outside and towards my truck that was parked by the side of the cabin.
"Yeah. I guess. I have to stop moping around." I handed Chaeyoung my keys and leaned against my car. "I have to just move one. I know she doesn't like me."
"You know she likes you!" She teased opening the trunk and grabbing her shoes. She slid herself in the truck and sat down with her feet dangling.
"Not in the why I do. I know she likes me, but as a friend. A friend who listens to her when she talks about Daniel." I rolled my eyes and sat beside her. " You know what?" Chaeyoung looked up at me and nodded.
"What?"
"I'm just going to stay clear from her."
"Like ignore her?" Chaeyoung shook her head disapprovingly. "Thats fucked up you know."
"I'm not that cruel. Of course when she talks to me I'll answer her. But if I don't have to I won't. I'm not going to put myself through that." I sighed.
"The girls are coming." Chaeyoung whispered. I looked up and seen them coming out of the cabin.
"Lets go hiking!!!" Sana exclaimed leading the way.
