Isaiah's POV
"Welcome back" Elder Abran speaks the moment I walk in. "Did you take a nap while you were at it?" He chuckles and takes a drink from his cup.
"Ignore him" Elder King rolls her eyes "how did it go dear?" She asks with a soft smile. "Were there any issues?" I sigh as I take a seat.
"None at all" I smile at her "Jonathan is a professional." I notice her shudder when I say his name. "He's a psycho but at least he's great at it."
"You didn't get rid of him when you became Alpha?" Elder Abran asks genuinely concerned.
"There was no reason." I answer curtly. A knock is heard. I stand up to open the door. Outside is Leiser with "alpha Arrio." I smile at him then look down to his mate "Luna Kai. Please come in" I move to the side and usher them in.
They both freeze when they see them . Kai glares at me "what's the meaning of this?" He says aggressively with a wink.
"He's such a dork" Frode chuckles.
"Alpha Arrio" Elder Abran stands to shake hands with him , completely blowing off Kai. "It's good to see you again." Kai stares him down , I notice his eyes changing colors from the anger. "Come take a seat , next to-"
"Oh I wasn't aware this was your house" Kai Interrupts, walking pass him and sitting in the seat that the elder had been sitting. I stay still with my jaw down on the floor. He signals Arrio to take a seat by him before giving his attention to Elder King "I'm sorry, I don't think we've met" he says politely.
Good I was so scared that he was going to be rude to her. I notice Elder abran is still stuck in his tracks, his eyes flashing green. "King." Elder King gives her hand "you must be Luna Kai. I've heard that your pack adores you." She smiles. "I can see why"
"You're making me blush Elder king" Kai giggles with a faux blush. He loves being complimented. Elder king laughs as Kai gives his attention to elder Hideo. "Elder Hideo? Is that correct?" Kai shakes his hand.
"I'm surprised you remembered." Elder Hideo chuckles. When did they meet? "It's been three years already."
"Yes it has been Elder." Elder Abran finally takes a seat by elder king, as he watches elder Hideo and Kai talk. He raises a brow, confused with their interaction. I need to take his attention away from him, if Elder Hideo still isn't on elder abran a side then we need to make sure he stays safe.
"Elders" I grab their attention. "Now that Luna Kai and alpha Arrio are here, can we begin? I want to get back to my boys as soon as possible." I say gently.
"Yes of course." Elder Abran stands up again. Jeez that man is giving himself a workout. He reaches in his robe and pulls out a crystal ball "it's about the Yates, they have escaped . Here is a video that Elder Hennesy has sent me." He places the crystal ball in the middle table "begin" . The ball floats and shines a white light , like a sort of projector.
It's pitched black at first but then footsteps are heard and there's a figure that is seen that stops in front of a cell, then a hand is seen with a set of keys and the cell is opened. The person then walks in "It's time" That must be Françous. I meet Arrio's eyes and we share a look before looking back at the video. "we'll be free soon" he says and then something falls to the ground. They rush out and into the next cell. It has to be Xander's.
