i saw it. the way you looked at her. i saw. you guys have so much in common, way more than what you and i have. you guys like the same music, movies, food and even your zodiac signs are compatible. i see the little glances you try to sneak at her. i see it all and i can't blame you, she's gorgeous. i saw the way your eyes lit up when you two first met at wallows' album release party. she's so much fun to be around, she's someone i can even see myself possibly being friends with in the future when all of this blows over.
i think the day i knew you fell out of love with me was may sixteenth. my birthday. you spent my birthday with her and finally came to me around six in the evening. the look on your face when i opened the door said it all and i knew you forgot. i know it's not her fault and i wouldn't blame her for your fuck up. you just.. forgot. you forgot about me on my birthday and even though you were there, you weren't. you forgot about our plans that we made three months prior, before you met her. you forgot that we were supposed to spend that entire day together like we did on your birthday.
