"soo i have news!" mary nervously said at the four people in front of her. finn, nick, quincy and finn's girlfriend hailey.
"what is it?" nick asked, he was so bored and wanted to start his livestream, same with quincy. "we're going to a y/n concert" mary mumbled but loud enough for them to hear. "what?" finn asked. he knew what she said he just wanted confirmation.
"WOAHHHHH FINN'S EX Y/N?" quincy laughed as he looked at a confused hailey. nick was trying to suppress his laughter. "I MISS HER I'M IN" nick yelled as he and quincy highfived each-other. "what's going on?" eric asked as he walked into the living room, confused. "WE'RE GOING TO A Y/N CONCERT" quincy yelled as he walked over to eric.
"REALL- okay that's cool" eric said, trying to hide his excitement because he was earning glares from finn. "why are we going?" finn asked him mom. she sighed and looked at both him and hailey. "she's still a close friend of ours, we talk and text on the phone and we want to support her"
"but why do we have to go?" he asked, pointing to him and hailey. "well she doesn't but you are. you guys haven't talked in years" mary said. she too was trying to hide her excitement.
"what does she even look like now?" nick wondered out loud. "let's listen to some of her music or something" quincy suggested as he grabbed the remote and turned it on youtube, searing her name.
"theres this- oh let's do her funny moments" eric said as he pointed to the video titled "y/n l/n cute and funny moments"
"okay" quincy agreed, clicking on the video. everyone in the room was watching the video now. it opened with the youtuber's intro then cut to a video of y/n in a bowling alley.
"Y/N I THINK THATS ILLEGAL!" her friend shouted as she saw y/n walk onto an alley. "just watch!" y/n yelled as she tossed the bowling ball a little too hard. "OH SHIT" she laughed as she ran back off the alley but not before slipping. "YOU FUCKING IDIOT" her friend laughed
the video cut to another clip of y/n staring at a camera. her makeup and hair were done nice and her smile was as bright as ever. "well she's definitely matured" mary gasped as she watched the full video. even if finn did have a girlfriend y/n would always be the most beautiful girl he has ever laid eyes on. her smile would bright up his day and he constantly cursed at himself for letting her go.
they didn't end on bad terms. in fact they both agreed that they were too young at the time. they were 14 and were kids. they both agreed to stay as friends. they would talk all the time after that but eventually it died down into complete nothing. now they were both strangers.
hailey couldn't help but feel a hint of jealousy because it's no secret that y/n is absolutely gorgeous but the way finn is staring at her on the videos- is starting to scare her. "IS THAT Y/N?" a voiced squealed from behind them. the family immediately noticed that voice as enya's. turning around, they were all met eyes with drew, enya, orion, josh, josiah and iris.
"THATS HER? THE ONE THAT GOT AWAY?" iris yelled, pointing to the tv. "YES" everyone agreed, causing enya, orion and iris to squeal louder. "MY BABYY! UGH I MISS HER SO MUCH!" drew groaned. "same that bitch was absolutely amazing" josiah beamed as he sat down on the couch and watched the video.
"holy fuck she's so hot. finn i should literally kick your ass" orion said as she sat down next to mary. "i already did" mary secretly whispered in her ear causing her to laugh. "what mom?" finn annoyingly asked causing enya to snap at him. "finn don't be a bitch just because you know she hot as fuck and hailey could never"
the room went quiet and all that was heard was quincy, drew, josiah, nick, and josh trying to hold in their laughter. iris and orion were wheezing and hailey sat there in shock.
"be nice" eric said, eyeing enya. but inside, eric knew she was right. everyone knew she was right. sure finn likes hailey, but he doesn't love her. no matter how many times he's tried to deny it, he loves y/n. still.
"i understand you guys don't like hailey probably because you all have your heads stuck too far up y/n's ass- oh shut up finn you know you'd love to be in her ass" drew cut him off, making everyone laugh. "hey!" mary scolded. "sorry mary" drew chuckled. finn was so angry. not because they were being rude to hailey in front of her face but because they were right.
"i'm gonna go" hailey said as she stood up. "no you don't have too, please stay" finn said as he held onto her hand. "BOO FAKE LOVE!" josiah shouted as he threw a piece of popcorn that came out of no where at finn making everyone laugh loud. "josiah!-WOULD YOU GUYS STOP?" mary started to say but finn interrupted her.
"y/n is in the past" he said. "finn shut up you and this hailey just started dating like a week ago what the hell" enya laughed as she gestured towards hailey. "stop it enya it's true love i tell you!" josh laughed, throwing his hands in the air.
"DOES ANYONE HAVE Y/N'S NUMBER? I MISS THAT WHORE SO MUCH AND OH MY FUCKING GOD SHE'S SO HOT" drew yelled as he pointed to the tv. the video was still on and y/n was being photographed for a brand. it was absolutely breathtaking.
"holy fuck" orion mumbled. "GODDDDDDD DAMNNNNNN" enya screamed. "finn if you won't take her i will" josh said as he popped a piece of popcorn in his mouth. finn glared at josh and narrowed his eyes at the boy. "OOOO SOMEONE'S JEALOUS" drew teased.
finn groaned and started walking to his room, ignoring all the calls from his mom and friends. even hailey. "eh he's probably gonna go cry himself to sleep at the thought of her dating me instead" josh snickered. "he's so mad" quincy laughed "he's still going to the concert" nick said as he ate a piece of popcorn.
