i haven't had a actual conversation with finn in a few days. if we did talk, it's brief. he's been like this ever since he came home from filming season four of stranger things. it's like he doesn't even acknowledge my presence anymore. i've been at his place for a few hours and he's just been upstairs in his room the entire time, occasionally coming out to get something to eat.
after a small talk with mary, i decided that i would go upstairs and check on him since i haven't seen him at all in the past two hours. i was walking up to his room when i heard slight whispers. they were muffled because of distance but as i got closer i could tell they were from finn and billy. i placed a hand on the door to steady myself as i put my ear up to it. i don't mean to eavesdrop drop but he hasn't talked to me in days and maybe he will tell billy if anything is wrong.
i started to shuffle a bit, my legs growing tired until I heard finn's voice again. "she's just too clingy, i want time to myself after months of filming and she's just everywhere. i can't even go downstairs without her being around. it's annoying." i felt my eyes start to water and my throat tighten. he really felt that way? it was quiet until i heard billy speak up from the other end of the phone. "dude you've been gone for the past 5 months she just missed you"

"yeah but it's constant okay? it's constant! i need space!" that was all it took for me to quietly run downstairs, grabbing my purse that was on the counter and rushing out of the door before he could see me leave. not that he would care but still. the walk home was terrible. it was at least a thirty minute walk from finn's home to mine. my legs were tired, my nose was stuffy, my eyes were puffy and my cheeks were stained with tears.
when i finally reached my house the cars were gone meaning my parents weren't home. i rushed in the door, quickly closing it behind me and running to my room. i laid there for hours with not so much as a text, nevertheless a call from finn asking where i went. the only people who seemed concerned were nick, mary and eric. i just told them i had a family emergency and apologized for leaving without saying anything.
