A year pasted. Everyone is now attending their 3rd year together. However the adventure isn't over. Wily returns and it seems the time for Mega Man is now.
Mega Man teleports to Camp Everfree. He met up with Apple Jack and Fluttershy as the three saw the forest on fire.
Apple Jack helped evacuate everyone at the camp while Fluttershy took care of the animals that tried to escape the flames.
Mega Man ventured deep into the burning forest to confront Torch Man.

Gloriosa: Why would someone do such a terrible thing?
Apple Jack: Put it simply Dr. Wily reprogrammed 8 robots again. One of them being the one responsible for setting the entire forest on fire.
Timber. But it doesn't make sense. Torch Man would never do something like this even if he was training.
Fluttershy: Training?
Timber: Yeah. Torch Man was designed by Tsubakuro Precision Machining as a camping advisor, teaching people about campfire safety. In his spare time, he ventures out into the wild to work on his very own martial art, "Torch-jutsu." He started Torch-jutsu in order to train himself to keep his flames under control, since the slightest lapse in judgment can cause a dangerous flare-up. With his training incomplete, he still tends to flare up in moments of strong emotion. He gets particularly excited when it's time for the turkey roast, resulting in many a scorched bird. He once tried training by standing under a raging waterfall. The subsequent repairs took three months.

Torch Man: Perhaps you will be a challenge.
Mega Man: That depends on what challenge you're preferring to.
Torch Man: You've made it... now prove yourself. Torch-jutsu, THE FLAMING FIST!
Mega Man: I'm more than ready now. Bring it on!
Torch Man: Fall to the fist of flame!
It was a battle of hot and cold. To counter Torch Man's fighting style, Mega Man equipped the weapon, Tundra Storm, to clenched his flames. A fighter Torch Man was, but couldn't defeat that of cold.
Blazing torch, allows Mega Man to launche a ball of red-hot fire diagonally into the air. Just like the Robot Master this weapon comes from, each fire ball comes crashing back down as a searing projectile in the shape of a fiery dragon, reminiscent of Torch Man's blazing kicks. The Power Gear can be supercharge the weapon to fire off three projectiles at once.
