Chapter 17: Provocation

"Could you come block for us for a bit?"

Tsukki: "I'm already done for today, so please excuse me."

Kuroo: "Whaat?!" He was surprised from his answer.

Bokuto: "There's no point in practicing spikes if you've got no one to block them. C'mon help me out here." The older male pleaded to him.

Tsukki: "Why me? Ask someone from Fukurodani..."

Akaashi appeared behind Bokuto and answered his question.

Akaashi: "Bokuto-san's spiking practice is endless, so everyone escapes as quickly as possible."

Kuroo: "And I'm busy training this guy and whipping him to shape, so I can't." He said as he pointed towards a tired out Lev.

Lev: "But I said I'd block for you!"

Kuroo: "Shut it. If you want to be a Nekoma regular, you'll get those receives to a higher level first."

Lev: "Ugh......"

Kuroo: "...He might not look like it, but this guy is one of the Top 5 spikers in the country, so it'd be useful to practice with him and Y/N here, you already probably know about him but if he was an Ace he'd also be a Top 5 in the country, so it'd be useful to practice with them."

Y/N: "...Bokuto-senpai just missed being in the Top 3, though..."

Kuroo: "Don't worry about it." He told them.

Bokuto; "Please! Don't knock on me like that!!!" He yelled.

Tsukki: "L/N-san....? What are you doing here with them?"

Y/N: "They invited me to practice with them and I accepted it, so now here we are."

Kuroo: "Also, if you're a middle blocker, shouldn't you practice blocking a little more." He said in a manner to tick off Tsukkishima.

He then decided to come join our practice.

Inside 1st Gymnasium

Hinata: 'Today's quicks weren't in sync at all. We've got to practice...'

Kageyama: 'It'll be bad if we can't get this to a level where it's usable by next month.'

They were both thinking to themselves, about improving themselves but they weren't still talking to each other much.

Yachi: "Ah! Are you going to practice quick strike's?!"

Yachi's sudden appearance surprised Hinata and Kageyama and got their full attention.

Yachi: "Should I throw balls for you??"

Hinata/Kageyama: 'Why does it feel like she's saying "you'll need alot, right"...' "P- please do!!/ Osu."

Back in 3rd Gymnasium

Bokuto: "Here Comes Another!!" He shouted as he spikes the ball with Tsukkishima attempting to block it. "One More!"

Bokuto spiked again for one last time and got it through this time.

Bokuto: "YESSS!"

Y/N: "You only won against a single blocker y'know."

Bokuto: "Shut up! Let me enjoy my moment."

Kuroo: "Then how about you try it with two?"

Y/N: "What about Lev?"

Kuroo: "He's probably dead..... For now..... He'll be okay. Don't worry about him and get back to your serves.
