Training Camp Trip,
Day 3. Afternoon

Highest Temperature: 34°C

Y/N's POV

Dear God, WHY IS IT SO DAMN HOT!!!

I though Saitama is said to be pleasantly cool, but it's hotter here than in Tohoku. It's day 3 of the week-long camp trip. We've almost reached the midway point.

This really seems to be wearing everyone out. Thank Coach Ukai I'm not with the others though.

Hinata and the rest of my teammates were having another penalty run up and down the hill. The reason I was not with them was because they said I over-exhausted myself in the morning practice match. According to them I passed out during a match with Fukurodani.

I'll be able to join them again in the evening, so at least I'll be able to play today.

My teammates had finished their penalty and now we're playing against Fukurodani again.

I was told to rest the whole afternoon by Ukai-sensei which I don't really mind.

I then hear Yachi-san muttering to herself.

"Yachi-san, what are you muttering to yourself?"
I asked her.

Yachi: "Uwah! It's nothing Y/N-senpai. I was just wondering about Kageyama and Hinata..." She told me.

"Speaking of them. I heard they had a fight three weeks ago."
I said.

Yachi: "I was actually thinking of that. It's been about 3 weeks since the clash between Hinata and Kageyama-kun. Even though they've reached the point where they practice together, they have yet to hold a conversation." She told me.

"Ah, I see. No wonder they've been distant lately."

As I finished saying that Asahi had just scored a service ace for the team.

"Woaah! A service ace!!" I heard Yachi-san cheer.

Kiyoko: "Little by little, Everyone's making fewer and fewer mistakes. Each set has less of a point difference, too."
Kiyoko explained.

"Great way to put it, Kiyoko-senpai."
I complimented.

Everyone's day-to-day progress is simply astonishing.

I was a bit worried about the cheerless Tsukishima after all the attacks he received from Kuroo and Bokuto-san, but, as that listlessness seems to be his standard state, it's put me a bit at ease that he's as aloof as ever even when utterly exhausted.

Kageyama had set to Hinata for the brand new quick they were talking about but it seems that they still don't get the hang of it.

"Don't worry about it, you'll get the next one!"

Both of them apologized to each other without looking at the other at all.

A ball flew at our way which I caught at the last minute but it looks like Yachi-san was still spooked by it. I would be too.

As I was saying, I'd really like to see it succeed during this training camp, other wise there's a chance that it might be a problem for the whole team.

Short Timeskip

"Guess we'll switch the penalty to flying falls while the sun's beating down like this.."

"That sounds fine."

I overheard the conversation between two coaches and it sounds like they're gonna change the penalty.

This will be fun.
