Flying was the most amazing feeling Cat had ever felt. Niorvy kept the flight steady, and they were moving so fast, Cat felt like her face was going to peel off.  The cold air, this high up was absolutely freezing, and Cat was glad she was wearing a coat.

She could hear Thalia whooping at the front of Niorvy, though it was hard to hear through the roaring wind. She could faintly hear a voice yelling in front of her, "Water dragons, like Niorvy, can fly at approximately 200 miles per hour, and we'll be taking a couple breaks in between flights, so we'll be at the academy in roughly 2 and a half hours. Buckle up, it's going to be a long ride!"

Cat groaned. She could barely stand 30 minute car drives without having something to do, and the excitement of actually flying on a dragon, while still there, had worn off slightly. Nothing to do now but lean back and enjoy the ride.

Her phone was in her pocket, but of course, there was no wifi. Cat wasn't very sure falling asleep on a dragon was a good idea, so there was nothing to do. Cat closed her eyes, hugging Hazel closer, trying to stay warm.

Are we there yet? A voice came from tucked in her jacket. Even Hazel was small enough to be feeling the cold. Cat felt kind of sorry for Thalia. Granted, Thalia's coat was much better than hers, since it actually had a zipper.

An hour later, they were setting down on Mrytle Beach. Niorvy lay down, letting the 4 of them of her back. Cat's legs had fallen asleep, and she stumbled a little after landing. Thalia was having the same problem, but Jin seemed to be perfectly fine. Cat wondered how long she had been riding Niorvy.

"So, are you going to tell us where we're going?" Thalia asked, wobbling circles around Niorvy, trying to get feeling back into her legs. Cat followed her. "I already told you." Jin said, glancing at her phone, then putting it back in her pocket. "We're going to my school."

Thalia rolled her eyes at Jin's back as she continued her circles. "I meant, where is it?' Jin raised an eyebrow. "I highly doubt you'd know where, even if I told you. The school is on an incredibly secluded island, where not many people live. We're able to live there because we have our dragons and magic." Thalia came to a dead stop. "Did you say magic?" she said with a huge grin. dragons were one thing, but magic was an entirely different thing!

"Did I not mention that dragon riders have magic?" Jin asked. "No. No you did not." Cat turned to Hazel. "Can I do magic?" Hazel shrugged. Don't ask me. I didn't even know other dragons existed until, like, yesterday.

Cat turned to Jin. "Can I do magic?" Jin laughed. "Definitely not. Hazel is still too young for either of you to have even a tiny spark of magic. When you're older, kid." Cat sighed. As always, she was too young.

"Our next stop will be Miami, Florida." Jin announced. "I'd hurry and get feeling back in you legs if I were you. This is going to be our longest ride."
