You're like Persephone
you're more beautiful than Aphrodite
you consume my waking moments
bringer of death
to my sensibility
you are a fair maiden
your eyes are my safe haven
I could look at them forever
my love for you is beyond measure
when you stare at me I get butterflies
I can't stop smiling
but when you look away
I find myself craving your gaze
I want to be near you for all my days
You don't feel the same
I know
but it's better to keep you as my friend
than to tell you my feelings
and have all that end
You're happy now
I will leave you be
I'll be in the underworld
I know that you're free
up in Olympus with the other gods
living life like it will never end
you will be immortal in my memories
I'll love you for eternity
