Christmas is tomorrow, it legit rolled in blink of an eye and all the time in between me and Benjamin have been training.

I can almost perfectly control my powers plus I can flip my so called human switch whenever I want and for however long I want.

Charlie didn't get back to me until yesterday saying that he was out with his girlfriend.

Great.

So right now I am on my way to Charlie's home.

Emmett is back at Carlisle and keeping everyone from getting suspicion about my whereabouts.

I park Emmett's jeep in front of Charlie's and exit it, locking it behind me.

I walk towards the front door of his house and lift my hand to knock.

Not a minute later Charlie swings open the door and embraces me in a hug.

But quickly pull backs, "Why are you so cold?" He questions.

Shit.

I close my eyes and quickly flip the switch. I open them and give him a confused look, "I just walked here in such a chilly wind, my temperature will be normal in a second" I smile at him and he nods at me. Steping aside for me to come in.

We sit down on the couch, "What was so urgent kiddo?" He questions.

"Am I your real daughter?" I ask directly without beating around the bush.

He takes in a sharp breath, "Who told you?" he clicks his tongue.

"It doesn't matter how I get to know, just tell me am I your daughter?"

"Yes you are!" He exclaims standing up in frustration.

"I am talking about am I related to you by blood."

He looks at me and then down his shoes, "Fuck" he mumbles to himself, he looks back at me and shake his head no.

"Wow" I breath out, "So what's my story?" I ask him as I pat the spot next to me.

He takes a deep breath and sits next to me, "When Bella was born, she was taken under the observation for a day and when your mom and I visited her, we saw you next to her crib. I remember you looking intensely at us and you started to cry and then your mom quickly picked you up and calmed you down, then a nurse walked in telling us that you were left at the door step of the hospital and facility decided that they will make sure you were healthy and then put you in orphanage but for some reason your mother was bothered by the idea of you having anywhere else besides her arms so we decide to adopt you then and there since then we have two daughters" he explains with a small smile on his face, he looks at me "I understand if you-"

I cut him off by giving him a hug, "I am your daughter I just wanted to know where I came from" I giggle and he wraps his arms hugging me tightly. I break the hug and look at him, " I will always be your daughter" I reassure him and he gives me the biggest smile I've ever seen on his face.

"So that's all you need to know?"

I nod at him, "Let's go to the cafe and eat the greasy burger like we used to" I chuckle at him and he agrees picking up his car keys.

"Don't bother I bought Emmett's jeep" I dangle the jeep keys from my fingers. "Okay then what are we waiting for let's go!" He exclaims running out of the door.

I follow him out, he throws the house keys at me. I lock the door behind me, throwing the keys back at him.

After eating the burger and dropping Charlie back to his place and  start to drive towards Carlisle's.

I park the jeep outside and see the house empty, "I am back" I announce. I wait for minute or two to hear something but nothing. Then I skip towards backyard to see it empty as well.

Where is everyone?

 I quickly check everyone's room to see them all empty. I make my way towards Carlisle study to see it empty as well.

What is happening here.

I hear a whoosh outside and in an instant I am outside to check the source of the sound. But before I could reach it was gone.

I see a white blur in my peripheral vision and I quickly run towards it. I see someone with white cloak running . I push my legs to go faster and extend my hand to reach the cloak. My fingers grazes the hood and I grab it, pulling it back with the person.

I slingshot the person and he or she collides with the bark of the tree. I rush towards the person and look down.

A gasp leaves my mouth as I see myself staring at myself.

What the.

"Tara" I hear someone calling.

"Kiddo wake up" I feel the floor shaking and the whole world turns black and I snap my eyes open.

"What the" I mumble as I look around to see I am in Emmett's keep but in passenger seat.

"You were mumbling in your sleep kiddo, bad dream?" I look up at Charlie who is sitting on the drivers seat.

Right after having burger I was feeling sleepy so I asked Charlie to drive.

"I had the same dream I did when I was little."

"You running after a black cloak?"

I nod at him, "But this time it was white" I tell him.

"It's okay Tara they are just dreams" he gives me a small smile. I sit up straight and stretch myself. 

"Kiddo you have to drive back" he places his hand on my shoulder and shakes me.

"Yeah yeah" I flip my switch again, feeling myself again instantly. 

He exits the jeep and I scoot in drivers seat, "See you at Christmas" he leans against the open window, I nod at him, turning on the engine, he leans back and I drive off. I see him waving at me in the side view mirror.
