12. Creeped Out

"That's not my home" I look outside the window, we are park outside a Chinese restaurant. 

"Thanks for telling me captain obvious, I didn't notice"  he rolls his eyes, "Well I figured that, you might be hungry sooo..." he trails.

I just smile at his small gesture and nodded.

We get out of the car and walk towards the restaurant, there were some Chinese letters and on the side Baiwei is plastered on the top of the front in bright golden and lights are falling on the letters to illuminate it.

We are greeted by a woman who look around in her twenties. As soon as she sees Emmett, she starts to pull her button up blouse down, and starts to flutter her eyelashes in flirtatious manner.

I mentally gag at her.

But a scowl takes place on her face when Emmett put his arm around my shoulder, "Table for two." She glares at me on which I just roll my eyes but again goes back eye raping Emmett, which Emmett didn't even acknowledged.

"Sure" she said in a high pitch voice, okay that was annoying as fuck.

She showed us a table, "If you need anything just call for me, my name is Lisa by the way" Emmett just nods without looking at her, she walks off but she squeezes Emmett bicep in the process.

Emmett looks at her like he wanna rip her head off and I tries to look anywhere  because if I do, I will start laughing my ass off.

She walks away and I turn my face towards Emmett still controlling my laugh.

Emmett immediately senses it, "Ha-Ha" he mocks annoyingly, with that I started to laugh, everyone around us starring at me but I do not care at this moment.

Emmett cracks a smile too.

As soon as I recovered, I look at Emmett and start to bat my eyelashes "Call me if you need anything, my name is Lisa by the way" I say in a high pitch tone mimicking Lisa, with that Emmett starts to laugh as well and I joined  him.

After we both recover, "It was so annoying!" Emmett exclaim looking at me which made me laugh again. I know it's nothing comedic big but trust me if you were at my place, you'd be laughing too! Just seeing Emmett getting uncomfortable.

Priceless.

Slowly I recover and look at Emmett who is looking at me and smiling really wide.

It was breathtaking.

I never realized how beautiful his smile is, well maybe because he is always wearing that smirk of his.

I look in his eyes they are no more golden-brown but brown-black with a hint of golden. Golden in his eyes was almost gone.

As I opened my mouth to ask him about it, I got interrupted.

"Uhmm" someone clears their throat. Me and Emmett both look up and Lisa hovering over us well mostly Emmett and she was glaring at me.

"Can I take your orders please?" She faked a smile at me, "Lotus stem please" I order, she looks at Emmett with flirtatious smile "How about you, sir?" Emmett just replies with a small nothing, and I raise my eyebrow at him, "I already ate" he answers my unasked question.

I nod and the waitress goes back.

After five minutes, the Lisa brings my food and I start to eat.

I am eating in silence and Emmett was watching me eat. His eyes followed my every motion. 

Not creepy at all.

I am half way through my food when something popped in my mind, "How did you get my number?"  

Which seem to startle him a bit but he quickly answers "You were not picking up your phone, so Charlie called my father and my father called me, giving your number." 

 "But why would my dad will call your dad?" 

"Well because my dad is head doctor of the town hospital, so Charlie was checking with him you know for any accidents plus he is his best friend so my dad asked me to look for you" he explains,  I nod in understanding and go back to eating my food.

"Shit I didn't called Charlie!" 

"Don't worry I did" he chuckles.

After five minutes I am done and slightly nudge the bowl forward.

Emmett asks for the check and again yeah as you guessed Lisa brought it.

I look at the bill, $10.

Emmet take the bill from me and take out his wallet. I quickly grab the bill and take a 10 dollar note and call out for Lisa and quickly hand it to her.

"Why would you do that?" Emmett asks, "Well because I am the one who ate the food, not you so why should you pay the bill?" I counter back.

"Well I should've paid because I was the one who asked you to come well practically dragged you here" he said with a smirk, "Well now I've paid it so let it be and I don't let anyone pay for my food anyway"  I said as I am not able to come with any comebacks.

We get into his car and drive away.

I tell him the directions to my house and soon we reach there.

I get out of his Jeep and turn back, I tap onto the window signaling him to pull it down.

"Thanks for today" I say and he smiles at me.

I walk towards the front porch and as soon as I get into the house and lock the front door, I hear the engine starting and fading away.

I enter the house and call out for Bella and dad but no reply.

I walked towards the kitchen and there was a note on it. It was a note by Charlie, it said that he will be out for two days due to some police work.

I walk upstairs and open Bella's room to check on her, she was sleeping.

I close the door and go to my room, I place my camera bag on the desk and change in my night wear, and lay on my bed, and I fell into the darkness with the pale brunette on my mind.

The story will progress slowly, what I mean is, characters meet each other and bam fell in love, NO! This will not happen, it will take time like real thing does. So stick around, it we'll get better!
