9. Liar!

Sun peered through my curtains, falling straight on my eyes. I squint my eyes and look at the clock  7:35 A.M., crap now I am going to be late today. I throw the duvet from my body and rush to the bathroom. I did my business and grab a pair of galaxy leggings, my beanie, black t-shirt and a flannel.

After getting ready I walk downstairs, Charlie as usual was sipping his coffee and reading the Forks Daily.

I greet him and quickly grab an apple from refrigerator.

"Where's Bella?" I asked while chewing on my apple.

"Umm he already left, she said that she had some work in school" Great now I have to go on foot. 

Just great! 

Okay so I am grumpy today.

I quickly grab my backpack and slam the door shut and sprinted towards the school.

After twenty minutes of running and slipping on the side walk, I finally reach the school. My leggings is wet and dirty around my butt. I dusted off as much mud as I could and take my button up and wrap it around my waist.

I rush up the steps and enter the front gate. As soon as I open the door I lost my balance slipping because of the mud on my shoe and landed on my butt.

Mother Earth just loves my butt today.

But I don't swing like that Mother Earth, sorry.

For few minutes I didn't move, I wasn't hurt. I was debating wether should I get up or stay here because I am tired from running and wouldn't mind spending the rest of the day sitting here.

I was bring back to reality when I see a hand in front of my face, I look up to see the owner of the hand. Okay I was shock when I saw the person offering me the hand.

Emmett Cullen.

"Are you gonna get up or going to stare at my hand for thr rest of the eternity because I can do that"  he smirks at me.

I look up at him and huff out.

I take his hand, they were as cold as Alice's. Ignoring the abnormal body temperature, I get up and dust off.

"Thanks" I mutter and walking away without looking back at him.

Much of the day was spent in a blur, nothing important happened. And last hour of the day rolled.

I am, as usual sitting outside on one of the benches.

I am reading a novel when I hear the door slam of the cafeteria that leads here, I look up to see an irritated Bella walking fast towards the bench I am sitting on.

"What crawled up your butt and died?" I snicker, closing the book and placing it beside me.

"Shut up" she mutter under her breath.

"But seriously though what happen?"

"Mike asked me for the prom."

"So?"

"I said that I'll think about it and since then he didn't stop bothering me" she huffs out.

"And?"

"I don't wanna go and he said that he'll ask me again tomorrow."

"Then just say no to him."

"I can't, I don't wanna hurt him, you know."
