25. Heaven

I am going to skip school today as Emmett told me he wants to tell me more about himself and I had loads of questions. But my dad doesn't need to know this. According to him I am still going to school and I am just in the mountain in front of school so I am technically going and Carlisle has called the school saying that I am 'sick' so nobody is getting actually hurt here.

I quickly grab my bag, as soon as I close the door I hear a car honk, scaring the shit out of me and being the clumsy person that I am I get my feet tangle into my untied shoelaces and trip down from the stairs, mid way to my journey I hit my head on the wall and I kept slipping till I hit the bottom.

Way to start a day.!

I touch my head and I feel a hot liquid on my fingers, slowly dark spots taking over my vision. My senses picks up faint sound of footsteps and continuous knocking on the door.

I didn't bother to look around I just held my head and curled into a ball.

I feel cold arms around me before darkness completely took over.

I open my eyes and see everything is white, am I in heaven? Did I really died from my little trip from my room to living room, which I didn't even travel on my feet?

I move my head to right side, there was a computer like creature making beeping noise, my eye sight is still blurry.

I rub my eyes and soon they decide to focus. It is a computer with green line going up and down steadily, well that is kind of satisfying.

I tilted my head sideways to see Bella with her head down, did she died too? Meh I thought I'll haunt her ass but hey now we can both haunt people!

I feel cold fingers interlock with mine and I look up to see Emmett smiling down at me.

"Did you die too? But I thought vampires were suppose to be immortal" My voice come out softer than I expected it to be. I hear Emmett let out a breath of relief and look in the opposite direction smiling at someone.

That someone turn out to be Carlisle, he walks over to me and flashed bright light into my eyes making me squint my eyes as the white light barges in my eyes.

They start to talk but I can't really make what they are talking about.

I look up Bella who is now sitting up straight with a smile on her face.

What is going on? Why everyone is smiling like that?

My vision is blocked by a hand, I look up to see Emmett holding his hand out. I raise my hand to place in his. He helps me to sit up straight.

Carlisle slightly push Emmett aside and again he flash light in my eyes making me groan and squint my eyes.

"You have a little concussion and you bleed a bit. Which I have checked and bandaged but you'll be fine, you can go home in an hour after some tests I'll see you" Carlisle says before walking out.

Oh so that's what happen, damn it I thought I can scare people now well maybe next time.

"You scared me, little one" I feel bed dip beside me.

Well at least someone got scared even though it wasn't from my ghastly form.

"Hey don't call me that" I pout.

"Whatever you say little one" He teases me more at which I pout again and fold my arms like a five year old, making him chuckle.

I look over to Bella who is clearly amused by mine and Emmett's conversation.

I pop out my tongue at her at which she laugh.

A nurse walks in with syringes and a clipboard.

"Let's get some test in" she sweetly smiles at me and start to do her stuff.

After an hour Carlisle walk in again with papers in his hand, "You can take her home now. Her tests are reports are completely normal but" he turns to me, "You have to take these one, everyday and when they are finished come and see me" he hands me a bottle of pills and he hands papers to Emmett.
