100. The Truth

Just like promised, Alistair, Stefan and Vladimir taught me how to separate the use of my shield and my other powers.

"That's it, you got it" Stefan smirked at me making me huff out.

"We've been doing this for four hours, can we go hunt?" Alistair complains.

"Well yeah I guess but animals" I told them.

All of them groans in unison and Alistair glare at me making me shrug at him.

When I saw Alistair for the first time, I knew that he will be a dick with some issues but turns out he is not a dick but he does have some issues.

"Tara" I hear Vladimir call out.

"What's up?"

"I need to talk" he looks besides me and nods at Stefan.

"Alright Alistair, time to leave" he claps his hands and force Alistair to leave with him.

I walk over to Vladimir and raise my brow at him.

"Cover us with your shield" he instructs me. I give him a question making him roll his eyes, "just do it."

I nod and concentrate the force field to go around us.

When he was sure that shield has covered us he spoke, "I know about your powers."

"What do you mean?" I question him not sure what he was referring too.

"I know about that you can control when to be a vampire or not and I know you are the strongest vampire after the ancient one" he smirks at me. I look at him shock which he took as a sign to continue, "I have fought beside the ancient till his last breath. I assume Alice has asked you put your blood into the old vial I gave her."

"You gave her the vial?"

"I am gonna take that as a yes. Do you want to know how ancient one died? When he was the strongest immortal" He smirks at me.

"Dehydration" I nod at him.

"No, that's just a rumour. He was stabbed by Volturi with a crystal dagger dipped in the ancient ones blood and burnt." He tells me.

"By Aro?" I asked as a lil fury flared in my heart.

"No by his grandfather, but in the process of stabbing the Ancient one Aro's grandfather died with all of his bloodline leaving Aro alone. That is why people treat Aro like something special, because he survived."

"Then what about the vial?"

"As long as you have some blood of yours out of your system and keet it safe, no matter how many times your are daggered or burnt you will come back to life, the blood will heal you no matter where in the world it is." He smiles at me.

"Then why did the ancient one didn't put his blood safe?"

"Arrogance" he answers.

"Then why the rumour?"

"Well the family didn't want world to know that the strongest vampire died of arrogance so they spread the rumour."

"So they spread the rumour that makes him look stupid?" He just shrugs at my question.

"Why are you helping me?" I ask.

"Because I am loyal to your family and also because they have shown me and  Stefan the kindness which we can't repay" he smiles at me.

"What do you mean my family, you owe to the Swan's? How come I have never heard of you before?" I look at him confused.

"You surely are slow for being the fastest vampire" he chuckles and I scoff at him, "You are not the part of Swans and you are the only one who have these powers because your true bloodline are born as vampires not bitten so if a child is born human in the bloodline they can remain to choose as a human or they can be bitten to become a vampire and they become the strongest vampire to walk this earth but it is said that only two children in the bloodline can be human which means you are the last strongest vampire which will be born as human and the true heir of the throne" he explains.

"So you mean I am not Bella's real sister or Charlie's daughter? How? If I was a human I would've been crying" right now I chuckle lightly.

"Say it a coincidence or fate's deigns but it's true" he gives me a sympathetic smile.

"It's a lot to process"  I rub my forehead as I sit down on the grass.

I feel eyes on me and I look up to see Emmett looking down at me with concern in his eyes.

"What happen?" He mouths. I shake my head no and give him a smile I can muster he nods still unassured but goes inside nonetheless.

Holy shit I need some answers and I know the person who can give me.
