66. Green

"We will see about that" Edward says in monotone.

"Yeah yeah, let's do it shall we?" I say in a bored tone.

"Rules are the same as before but this time the markers are green" Carlisle informs us.

We nod at him.

"Go!" He shouts and we rush through the forest. Within seconds we are in snow. I didn't look where is Edward as I just focused on the green marker hanging from the same tree the blue marker was hanging.

I jump and climbed quickly this time. I see the other marker still wrapped around the branch. I inwardly smirk as I jump down heading back.

"Ugh!" I hear him groan from my behind.

Yes!

Carlisle is standing on the same spot from the last time. I quicken my pace and pumped my legs more.

Within next second I slam the marker in Carlisle's hand, this time I couldn't control my speed and wasn't able to slow down I ran into a tree, breaking it into two, it slowed down my speed but not much. An arm wraps around my forearm and I look to see Jasper, he nods at me and I give him a questioning look.

And suddenly he throws me into the sky.

I am flying.

And

Karma is a bitch.

I shriek in shock and I shut my eyes tightly waiting for the impact but another arm wraps around my waist and I am suddenly pulled into a muscular chest.

"I got you" he mumbles in my hair and kisses my crown.

I open my eyes to see that Emmett has wrapped his arm around me tightly and we are on a water bed.

I am vampire of course. I roll my eyes at myself at my own stupid brain.

I hug him tightly as he gets up still having me in his arms.

The water bed melts into the ground.

Jasper comes back and nods at me I nod back at him and give him an appreciative smile.

"And the winner is Tara and that too by two seconds!" Alice screams on top of her lungs and I hear Edward groan.

"Hah!" I say it in his mind and he rolls his eyes at me.

"And let me tell you the difference was very detectable this time" Carlisle say with a proud smile.

"Yeas!" Me and Alice squeal in unison but she suddenly stops as fear take place on her features and she stared into space.

All of us rush towards her, Emmett put me down. I pull her in a hug as she quickly returned it wrapping her arms around me tightly. After a few she nods gesturing me that I can let go.

"What did you see?" I place my hand on her shoulder.

"They are coming" she says in monotone.

"When?" I ask her but she doesn't answer.

"When Alice?" I shook her placing both of my hands on her shoulder.

She snap out of her daze and looks at me dead in the eye, "In two days."

"We need to prepare" Jasper says  not leaving room for any argument. We nod at him.
