A/N: PLS BYE ITS BEEN LIKE 8 DAYS SINCE IVE UPDATED MY BAD BESTIES 😭✋🏾

UMM PROFESSIONAL DANCERS AU BC WHY NOT

-They were assigned dance partners.

-Melody and Basho are Leorio and Kurapika's dance teachers.

-Leorio is 17, going on 18 and Kurapika is 16.

-At first they fucking hated eachother because Kurapika was being stubborn and Leorio just never wanted to be there in the first place.

-Both do ballet but Leorio fell out of it when he was younger because of Pietro's death.

-Leorio's mom and dad recommended for him to go back into doing ballet because they feel like that was his happy place. And he studies frequently so they wanted him to get out more.

-Kurapika comes from a wealthy background but he's very reserved with his life so people perceive him to be a bratty rich kid because he's so cold and distant to everyone. (besides Melody)

-Melody and Basho get sick and tired of the two bickering so they would separate them and talk to them. It happens a lot.

-They do an ice breaker and start to get to know eachother. It goes well surprisingly.

-Leorio drops Kurapika by accident, sometimes.

-Melody and Basho always have to show them examples of the dance routine over and over again because Leorio and Kurapika both either bicker while dancing. Or they drop eachother on purpose.

-As soon as they warmed up to eachother they would hangout outside of dance class.

-Once a guy was flirting with Kurapika (they're used to it and they have a weapon just in case things get out of control) and Leorio hated it so he stepped in and started saying that he's their boyfriend. Kurapika was flustered by that but went with it.

-A girl was flirting with Leorio and after she left, Kurapika started talking shit about her. How she dressed, how tacky her jewelry was, how her hair was fried, etc, etc. Leorio makes fun of him for it saying that he was jealous.

-Leorio and Gon are cousins. Gon's like 5 in this AU

-When they were hanging out at Kurapika's place, they decided to slow dance to some songs that they love and for every song that changes the more the romantic tension rises and they eventually just say fuck it and kiss.

And then Kurapika's parents came home 😃
