OKAY OKAY SO I WATCHED THE 1998 PILOT THX TO @Holy_chrollo (ty bestie) AND WHILE GON WAS BUSY BEATING SOME SQUIDS ASS,, UM HELLOOOO LEORIO HAD COMBAT SKILLS? LIKE NOT GRABBING A KNIFE AND THROWING IT AT BITCHES BUT LIKE LEGIT COMBAT SKILLS EHATTSYS??? EXCUSE MEEEE?? THEY COULDN'T PUT THAT SHIT IN THE 2011 ONE?!?! LIKE DEADASS HE WAS LITERALLY FIGHTING KURAPIKA THROWING PUNCHES AND KICKS AND SHIT. AND WE ALL KNOW KURAPIKA IS BETTER AT HIM WITH COMBAT BUT LIKE GODDAMN I WANT TO SEE LEORIO BEAT PEOPLES ASSES MORE.

-During the occasional free time that they both have, Kurapika would help with Leorio's nen. Trying to enhance his power of course, but also he would also help him out with his combat skills.
-Leorio's combat skills were already good but Kurapika wanted him to improve. Just in case some sketchy people try to fuck with him.
-When Kurapika and Leorio train, it takes some convincing for Leorio to even hit Kurapika. He's all like "but I don't wanna hurt you tho :(" and Kurapika's like "I'll be fine just try your best."
-When Leorio beat Kurapika for the first time, Leorio was lowkey freaking out bc they were on the floor not getting up. So he scrambles over and starts asking if he's okay and if he need to go to the hospital. Kurapika laughs and sits up reassuring him that they're fine and then they say that they're proud of him.
-When Kurapika praises Leorio for his good work he gets butterflies bc he's impressing his boyfriend.
-Whenever Leorio looses to Kurapika, it always ends up with him getting pinned down by him on the floor. He gets bi panic bc of it.
-Leorio always gets kisses after training bc Kurapika is happy that he's always improving.
