Ray was helping Don and Gilda for cleaning the fishes and birds they hunt. He thought about how the freak he went too far on Anna, back at the orphanage he only saw her as a younger sister who is wimpy like Norman, who's liked to be carried by everyone when she's 3 especially by Mama. He thought of how she grown so much but he never thought of having a deeper affection on her.

"What I did on her was a tease right? I don't really like her more than that" He thought

"Yeah, but spending my time with her makes me feel better" He replied to his self.

It looks like he's convincing his self that he didn't like her but  contradicting it by saying something great when she's around such as when she took care of him, how pretty she was, and spending their time at the library.

"I see.. so I really went too far.." he murmured didn't noticed that he stared at her together with Nat who's playing with flour putting it on Anna's face, she looks funny when she's trying to get angry when she's so shy.

"We didn't know that you have an eye on Anna, Ray!" Gilda giggled. He looks pissed when he gets teased by someone.

"Nope, it's just Nat and Anna were wasting the flour there's nothing more than that" he replied in his grumpy look

"What an awful excuse" Gillian said with her crooked smile at Ray

"What do you want Gillian?" He sighed

"Well it's not my habit to peek at people cuddling at the library"

"What did you see more Gillian? Tell us!" Gilda said she giggled at Ray

"Ray leaned at An--"

"Go back to work you peeping Tom" He poked her head and grabbed her shoulders to drive her on the sink to wash some dishes"

"It's not nice to treat me like that!" Gillian complained

"I'll treat you nice if you don't mention something on what you saw earlier" He smiled on her

"So you like her!" She shouted at him, he felt uncomfortable thinking that is one of the embarrassing situation he was engaged.

"Wash the dishes!"  He yelled and left her, when he took a glance, Gillian was giggling when cleaning.

"What a lunatic" he murmured

///Fast forward///

They're done for that day and everyone was about to go to bed, as usual Ray's routine he like to read something before he go to sleep. He entered the library but there's no one there, he's expecting Anna leaning at a shelf reading like she usually do, he picked a book and decided not to stay at the library and just read it on his bed.

The next day

It's now in the afternoon and it's a relaxing day for them, most girls were taking a bath and the boys were just playing around,Yuugo and Lucas are watching them. After the girls took a bath they went to the library and started a girls talk, they locked the door to make sure they are all girls left in the library without knowing that Ray was there, Gillian was really excited about this and decided to talk first,

"Let's talk about boys!" She shouted

"Can we talk something else except for boys?" Violet suggested

"Why? It's our chance to say something about them" Gillian replied

"What about them?" Sonya asked

"Oh! For Pete's sake! Tell us which boys you're attracted with" she said frustrated

"Uhmm for me it's Oliver" Yvette felt embarrassed
"He's gentleman and acts like Norman" she added

"Yvette! I didn't know that you have a crush on your age!" Emma said

"Sorry Emma" She said shyly

"What about you Emma?" Gillian asked

"Hmm" She cleared her throat

"When I'm on her age the only thing I want to do was to spend time with my fami-"

"No no no!" Gillian sighed
"Talk about something about about a guy you're attracted to"

"Me? I don't have one...and I don't know who's attracted at me either" She felt embarrassed

"Emma is so naive" Gillian said and about to tell something,
"I feel sorry for Yvette but I've heard that Oliver has a crush on you!" She looked at Emma with crooked smile.

They didn't look surprised about it but for Emma it was a big shocked.

"Ehh!!!" She squealed

"How do you even know that?" Anna asked out of curiosity since she knew that it was a secret between them.

"It's a few weeks now and we saw Oliver has changed he acted more responsible and gentleman although he does and we noticed it and asked him" Sonya told and rehearsed it,

" ' I think I like someone and it's from Gracefield' that's what he said"

"We thought it was Anna but later we found out that it was Emma by the way Oliver stared and smiled at you!" Gillian pointed at Emma with her wide smile

"So what do you think about him, Emma?" Sonya asked

"N-nothing he's like an older brother to me, there's nothing more than that we are family here right?" She answered timidly

"Ohh it feels like Oliver has been rejected" Sonya laughed and scratched her head

"But there's a boy who admired Emma a lot" Jemima added, she looked at her sisters from GF like they're communicating on their mind.

"Tell us!" Gillian and the rest from the Grand Valley girls exclaimed. On the other side, Ray who can't focus on reading decided to eavesdropped a bit.

"Beside Ray, back then we have Norman, he's the genius followed by Ray and Emma" Gilda said

"W-waaitt Gilda why are we talking about Norman?" Emma was flustered

"Why? Norman has a crush on you back then right?" Gilda sighed, Ray heard it and decided to interrupt since he knows that Emma is sensitive about her relationship with Norman.

"Emma, you need to talk with Yuugo and Lucas rig--?"
Ray surprised them with his grumpy look and a bed hair, probably after their breakfast he head to the library and decided to sleep.

"Ray!!! What are you doing here?!!" Gillian exclaimed

"Reading?" He looked at Emma and signaled her to leave

"I-I almost forgot, I have to go guys" She smiled at Ray for saving him. A moment after she left they decided to continue their conversation.

"Emma's left who'd like to share theirs? How about Anna?"
She did it on purposed since Ray was there

"Me?? I-I don't feel like telling it to others" Anna said shyly

"Ray aren't you leaving?" Gilda asked

"Ray! Go to shower you stinks!" Gillian exclaimed

"Hold your horses Gillian, why are you so irritated with me?" He sighed

"Come on just tell Anna that you like her already!!" she shouted at her head

"I'm afraid Anna didn't answer because you're here"
She grinned at him, and he looked away

"If that's what you want, I'm leaving"
