AN OLD FRIEND

"You still here?" Ray sighed, he saw her at the doorway tuck sitting, she jumped up when she heard his voice.

"Yup! You're a big help Ray!" She bumped her fist on Ray's right arm, and he wiped his sleeves acting like she leave a dirt on it.

"It's nothing" His response as usual,

they walked together in the hallway to the Parlor, while everyone were minding their own business and the adults were carving some bows, they talked about Emma's burried feelings. Ray looked at Emma while she's wandering around.

"Emma, I wanted to ask you this for a long time"

"Hmm?" She perked up

"What do you think about Norman?" She startled and scratched her head.

"W-w-what do I t-think about him? H-h-he's a d-d-dearest friend of m-m-mine" she faltered yet she finished her words

"He's more than that Emma.. you know it,--" Emma looked at him with her unsteady eyes.

"--Norman loves you not as a friend... it's more than that" He noticed her teary eyes but what his intention was to confess her true feelings about their dearest friend.

"Come on Ray!--" she hit his right arm

" --He never loved me like that, we're siblings right?"

"Nope, we're not even related--" he said with his smug look
He's the only one who knows that Mama Isabella is her biological mother.

"--And I support Norman" He grabbed Emma's shoulder and gave a thumbs up

"Rayyie!! if you're thinking on hitting on me I'll automatically reject you" she said after an immediate smacked on his face

"Why are you beating me now?!" he rubbed his face and Emma just sticked out her tongue, you're so childish~ Ray remained calm and speak out.

"I don't have intentions like that, now tell it out Emma"

"Ray!"

She moved quickly and burried her face on his chest,he gently rubbed her back,grabbed her head and rest his face on it.

"You already know the answer.. why are you tormenting me for?!!!" She cried out

"I will not ask for it if I know..." He whispered, he felt a guilt but there's a way to console her, he knows anyway that Emma doesn't know how to give up.

Emma burst into tears and definitely shouted,

"Norman.. Of course I love him as he do!!"

Well you speak it up on yourself~ She hugged him tightly because of embarrassment.

"Look Emma are trying to kill m--"

"He's so stupid! Acting tough, I won't forgive his selfishness! "

"I know because of him we're able to escape and what's more important was saving you Ray... "

"I really miss him.."

"Even if I said this it won't help me to bring him back..."

"But I wish to see him once more..." She sobbed

Ray gently patted her head, I heard enough Emma~ the next thing he need to do was to console her

"But there might be a chance that he's alive right?"

"Our plan is to travel to Cuvitidala, Since there's a possibility that Adam met Norman at Lambda and now it was destroyed... I decided to go there" Emma looked at him,

"What are you saying?!"

"We can't guarantee that Norman was there but it's good to seek information on that plantation"

"Me too! I will go with you!" Of course Emma has her fate on him

"Then it's decided" he smiled

"Now Emma take a rest you got a good cry you must be tired" He patted her head and she nodded

"Ray, you sure you don't have a crush on me or something like that, do you?" She giggled trying to teased him.

"In your dreams--" He rolled his eyes and she laughed

"Besides I have an eye on someone" he added

"Who is it?"

"Better if you won't know" he flicked her forehead

"That's unfair! You already know who's mine!" She rubbed her forehead

"You'll know sooner or later" he looked away

"I'm taking a shower"

"Take a rest!" He added and left the room
