That day, I was about to make plans for dinner with the guys and the rest of the team but I had a phone call from the company. They found how the information was leaked, the CTO got suspicious and had his thumb drive checked for any unusual activity and found that someone copied the files within. When I heard of this I immediately went there and questioned them on the events.

Noongil was supposed to be under the partnered NGO's jurisdiction so it made no sense why the CTO of the branch company in Korea had his hands on the tech. Even if he did manage to get a hold of it then they should have had more security details connected to it. When I questioned the employees on this, it was apparently because they we're experiencing problems with moving forwards with their current project so they requested for a reference material from the headquarters and the headquarters allowed it.

Thankfully the information in the tech wasn't everything and only contained enough information needed for the project they were working on here to move forward. But this might be a big issue depending on who stole this information. The company started an internal investigation to find the suspect while I emailed the headquarters about the recent events. It was a busy day all in all and I towards the end of the meeting discussing about contingency plans and contacting the NGO to up their security, I was just done and tired.

I got of work pretty late that day and I just needed a drink to sink all that information in so I bought a few beer cans from the convenience store and drank till I only had one can left. Since I was drunk I took a taxi intending to straight to the hotel but stopped midway when I saw fireworks at SandBox from Hangang Bridge. I got off they taxi with my one beer and the rest of my belongings, and just stood there near the railing, sipping on my beer and watching the fireworks go off.

After a while I noted that there was a car parked near where I was but a bit further up front. At first I was scared but I when I saw that the car looked familiar, I realised it was coffee-nim's car. After that I think I felt a little more at ease but didn't move towards him. I just waited there watching the fireworks for while longer, fortunately the beer in my system was keeping me warm from the cold air. After the show of fireworks ended I decided to call coffee-nim out of his car instead, even if he didn't notice me at first he should know after a while that I was here.

I'm guessing he didn't want to invade my space? Weird.

It's was amusing to watch his reaction to me asking him to join me and all but in overall we had a good flowing conversation I think. It was weird how calm I was about coffee-nim when I barely know him, because if it was anyone else I would be screaming bloody stalker. I think my mind was at ease knowing he already had someone he liked so I don't have be that cautious around him. The thought that he likes someone though, partially disappointed me but I just sucked it up.

The world doesn't revolve around me.

With a few drinks in my system I spilled more about myself to him than I intended. I told him about ahjussi and almost told him about the Noongil problem, but thankfully stopped myself. I need a little control, I mentally noted though. That night ended quite funnily and it was nice to know that coffee-nim was starting to tease around with me too, though that seems to happen a lot when I'm either drunk or tipsy.

Good lord help me.

After he dropped me off, I laid off my problems and passed out on my bed that night, for the first time putting my work aside for tomorrow.

It's been two days after that night and I got the contract all ready. I informed Dal Mi-ssi yesterday about the contract and we agreed to let sign it by today since I was leaving to Silicon Valley tomorrow night. I drove down to SandBox with my belongings as well as another representative from the company, and went to find Dal Mi-ssi in the office.
