I shout through the door. "I don't care." He shouted back I went into his room and peeled off my soak and wet clothes as I went through his I found a Spiderman t-shirt and slipped it on. He came into the room with just a towel wrapped around his waist. I looked through his closet and threw him an X-men t-shirt. Yes I know we were dorks for having so many super hero t-shirts. He groaned. "I'm not saying you look bad but do we have to wear these I mean it's our 16th birthday aren't we getting too old for super heroes?" I glare at him than yank my shirt off.

I throw it on the floor and hand him one of his fancy plaid shirts and grabbed a regular black t-shirt from his closet. I grab a pair of his red basketball shorts and slip them on then leave the room going over to my house. We've always worn super heroes for our birthday. I walk into my room and slip on a pair of my blue jean short shorts since how his basketball shorts kept falling off of me. I throw a light blue jean vest over the shirt of his I was wearing and noticed I wasn't wearing my converse.

I mentally groan and walk back over to Logan's I pick up my shoes and throw his shorts at him. "Super hero hater!" I walk out of the house with nothing else said. My dad walks out from the kitchen. "Uh oh what happened? Where's Logan?" I glare at him and sigh. "He doesn't want to do super heroes this year." My dad nods and looks at what I was wearing. "So that's why you look normal?" I nod and sigh again as I flop down onto the couch. "Well it is your 16th birthday shouldn't it be special?" I shrug. "I guess.

Hey dad are you going to make me wear a dress tonight to the party?" I asked. My dad gave me a smug look. "Possibly now you go over to Logan's and you guys have to stay out of the houses until around about 6 tonight." I groan and walk outside back over to Logan's house. I go upstairs and lay down on his bed. He comes in and laughs at me. He took out his phone and took a picture of me. "You're actually wearing something normal!" I glare at him.

"Yeah can't be shocked about you because you always look normal." He laughs and shook his head. "Alright you need some ice cream to make that awful mood of yours nice." He grabbed his car keys and drove me to the ice cream parlor. "Oh by the way we have to stay out until six this time." He nodded his head. "I know my parents told me." I lick my vanilla ice cream and watch Logan as he licked his chocolate one. "You know you want to laugh and smile."

Logan said as he looked at me. I stopped licking my ice cream and looked at him. I shoved the tip of my ice cream on his face. I smiled. "What's with you and shoving cold things on me?" He asked as he tried to lick it off. A girl walked up to us around our age and took a napkin and wiped the ice cream off his face. "Your friend here seems not to like you that much. She's probably a lesbian with how she dresses so what do you say me and you get out of here?" I sat back in my seat and watched as Logan looked at the girl confused.
