The Haunted Ring

Chapter 20, Back to Normal

Ellie fell asleep on her bed. A familiar voice boomed inside her head. It was her mom, she said,
"Ellie, you need to resolve your fight. I know that'll get us back please Ellie please" the voice faded. Ellie got up, her face blood red from crying so hard. She went downstairs to Amie.
"I don't have anything to do with you right now!"
"Amie, I've come here to apologize. I strongly regret making you mad. I really know that all this stuff is my fault. I've came here to say, I'm sorry, I really was just trying to get the people I love back, and you wouldn't understand."

"You're right, but I still can't believe you wasted 5 hours of my time for something that didn't work."
"I didn't know what would happen with or; but I need you to apologize to my grandpa, please Amie."
They walked into Felipé's bedroom.
"Felipé, I'm sorry, I regret what I said to Ellie."

"I forgive you."
A light shined in front of them. People started to appear.
"Ellie you did it!" Ellie's mom cheered and ran up to Ellie for a hug.
"Mom! Lukas, Tessa, Peter, you're all here! But where's grandma?"
"Oh, she, passed. I'm so sorry, Ellie." Her mom said.
"It's ok, I at least still have you guys!"
Ellie felt something in her pocket.
"We have something to destroy, first, the ring. Grandpa you get the"
"Wait, Ellie is this really grandpa?" "Yes, he found me." She hugged him.
"Anyways, grandpa, you get a hammer and meet us all in the van that you have."
They all met in the van. Ellie drove. They stopped at a forest. Ellie got out of the van.
"You guys stay in here, I'll deal with the ring. Grandpa, hammer please."
She took the hammer and walked over to the river. She set the ring on a tree stump, she rose the hammer above her head. She smashed the ring into millions of pieces. She grabbed as many of the pieces of the ring she could, and threw them into the river. The emerald pieces glowed as they flowed away. She went back to the car.
"Let's go, now, we don't have to worry about the ring. Let's live our lives."
They drove off. What they didn't know, is that the ring, wasn't yet destroyed.
