Ellie was soooo scared. There was only one more person that she could actually go to, Lukas. She quickly and respectfully drove to the high school. Lukas was waiting outside for Tessa. Ellie got out of her car and walked over to Lukas. "Still waiting on Mrs. PERFECT?" Ellie says as Lukas begins to talk quietly. "I guess you were right, she isn't that nice of a girl, she, well, bailed on me, she is in there dancing with Colby Ballow. But you're here, wanna dance?" Ellie said, " that would be nice but I need your help." "Okay?" Lukas said questionably. "Follow me" Ellie said sternly, walking to her car. Ellie asked Lukas if he knew anything about a cursed emerald ring. Lukas said to show him just to see if he did have any clues about it. Ellie opened the back car door and grabbed out the ring. She turned around and a mist of light flew into her face and Lukas was gone. She then thought about her mother and Pete, and figured out a clue. When her mom disappeared, she had known about the ring. When Pete disappeared he was about to see the ring, and now Lukas disappeared and Ellie told him about the ring. She wondered how she could solve this problem without showing or telling anyone about the ring.
