Chapter 4

Previously on The Prince’s Knight:

Onyx smiled and nodded. “Alright, escort me to the tailor’s office.”

Tatsuno nodded and opened the door. “Of course, follow me Onyx.”

He walked to the tailor’s office and knocked before opening it. The two walked in and the tailor smiled at them with a bow. His hair was a curly orange mess that bounced as he moved. “Hello your highness! What kind of fitting would you like today?”

“Actually this fitting isn’t for me, it’s for Sir Takao. He will fill you in with the details as I go eat some breakfast.” Onyx then left the room to eat.

Takao explained to the tailor the dress and the tailor wrote it down on his paper. “Alright I’m going to need you to undress to your underwear so I can record the proper measurements.”

Takao nodded and did so before the tailor started to measure him with his measuring tape, writing them down on the paper. Meanwhile Onyx had just finished his meal and was walking back to see if they were done. He looked in through the crack in the door and blushed hard at the almost nude knight. As much as he tried to look away he couldn’t. 

Soon the tailor was done and Takao got dressed again. “I’m going to go check on the prince.”

Onyx quickly moved away from the door and acted like he was just walking by. “Oh hey, right on time! How’d it go?”

Tatsuno nodded. “It went well. How was your breakfast?”

Onyx blushed hard when the image of him in just his underwear popped in his head. He quickly looked away and nodded. “I-it was good…”

Tatsuno looked at Onyx concerned and walked over to him. “Onyx, are you sick? Your face is all red.”

Onyx shook his head and blushed harder. “I-I’m fine!”

“Are you sure?” He placed the back of his hand on the prince’s forehead to see if he had a fever.

Onyx blushed at his touch and backed up against a wall. “Yeah totally!”

Tatsuno sighed and nodded. “If you say so. Is there anything else you require from me? It is your day off.”

Onyx’s mind raced with thoughts, none of them clean. He crossed his legs slightly to hide a potential bulge in his pants. “I umm…”

Tatsuno waited quietly as he fixed his belt before looking up. “I could take you out with the horses for a ride.”

“Uuuhhh y-yeah ok!” Onyx said with a smile and a hint of a blush.

“I’ll walk you to your room so you can change while I get the horses ready.”

Onyx slowly got off the wall and nodded. “Alright.”

The two walked to his room and Tatsuno opened the door for him. “Would you like me to come back when the horses are ready?”

Onyx nodded and walked in, taking off his shirt. Tatsuno blushed and walked away after he closed the door, walking to the stables to prep two horses. Onyx changed into his riding clothes and waited. Soon Tatsuno came back and opened the door. “Ready?”

Onyx nodded and followed him to the stables. Once they arrived Tatsuno handed him the reins of his horse. “Do you know how to get on?”

Onyx rolled his eyes and nodded. “Of course I do!” He held onto the horse and did his best to get up but ended up falling on his ass. Tatsuno chuckled softly and got off his horse before kneeling down, one knee in the air.

“Here step on my leg to get up.”

Onyx huffed and did so, getting on the horse easier. “I could’ve done it on my own…”

“Sure~” Tatsuno teased lightly as he got on his own horse. “You at least know how to ride, right?”

“Of course I do!” He blushed lightly and looked down shyly. “I’m just short…”

Tatsuno chuckled and nodded. “Alright, should we ride around the castle grounds then head to the mountains?”

Onyx smiled and nodded. “Sounds like a plan.”
