Chapter 8

Previously on The Prince's Knight:

Tatsuno winced "Yeah.." he grit his teeth.

Onyx continued to clean the cut before setting the rag in the water "Sorry but it's the least I can do"

"It's fine, I can get some medicine from the local healer and bandage it." Tatsuno said as he gingerly touched the cut on his cheek.

Onyx took the rag and gently dabbed it on Tatsuno's cheek, blushing lightly.

Tatsuno looked into Onyx's eyes as the other cleaned his cheek. He got lost in Onyx's eyes fairly quick. He slowly moved his hand onto the bed on the other side of Onyx's legs so he could lean closer without falling over.

Onyx blushed lightly and stopped his hand. He leaned in as well, looking into Tatsuno's sapphire ice blue eyes.

Tatsuno gently put his hand over Onyx's. He leaned close enough that their noses touched. Their lips brushed and Tatsuno blushes slightly.

"Lord Silsworth, I have fresh clothes for you as you requested!" A maid called before walking in with a stack of clothes.

Onyx blushed hard and jumped slightly when she came in.

Tatsuno yelped, startled and fell off the bed. He laid on the ground and groaned softly. He stood up and bowed to her "Thank you" He then took the clothes from the maid, pretending nothing happened. He watched as the maid left before letting out a heavy sigh of relief. He glanced at Onyx.

Onyx glanced back at Tatsuno and blushed harder. He quickly looked away "How's your shoulder feeling now?"

"Better, Thank you" Tatsuno puts his shirt back on then brings the change of clothes over "I'll help you get changed.."
Onyx blushed and nodded, doing his best to pull off the blankets and pull off his shirt. He didn't trust himself with his lower half at all due to his injured leg.

Tatsuno helped Onyx out. He stayed quiet and was careful with Onyx. He took Onyx's pants off carefully then helps Onyx get dressed in the new clothes "I uhm have to carry you till your leg is healed fully"

Onyx blushed and nodded, looking Tatsuno over. "Thank you, Tatsuno."

"Of course. Today you should relax, I can take you to the garden and bring you some tea if you would like" Tatsuno spoke respectfully

Onyx nodded and smiled "Sounds nice. You'll stay with me right?"

Tatsuno nodded "Yes, since you're injured I'll be at your side all time till you're healed" He carefully picked Onyx up bridal style and carried him to the garden "Where would you like to sit?"

Onyx held onto Tatsuno, careful not to hurt his shoulder. He points to the water fountain "On the edge of the water fountain."

"Alright" Tatsuno walked over to the fountain and set Onyx down gently "I'll get some tea"

Onyx nods and reaches down to touch the water, cupping some in his hand and pouring it onto his head.

Tatsuno chuckled softly before going to the kitchen to get tea.
