Previously on The Prince's Knight:
Tatsuno chuckles at a thought and then says in a loud voice "Princess Consort Whatever my name is gonna be has mysteriously turned into Sir Takao. Sir Takao is now a Prince Consort..?" He laughs softly and leans back.
Onyx blushed and nodded "I wouldn't mind.." He whispered to himself, unaware he was saying it aloud.
Tatsuno paused hearing Onyx and blushed "When you say that, does that mean you say you love me..? Because when you were talking to the priest, you said you wanted to marry for love.." He slowly looked at Onyx.
Onyx blushed hard, looking away. He didn't say anything, his jaw clenched at the realization. 'I do love him but how?! Why?! He's a man! Isn't it wrong?! I mean yeah he's a strong, kind, funny, handsome- scratch that, he's hot. But it's wrong, right? But... it doesn't feel that way..' His thoughts rang out in his head, making him question things.
Tatsuno sighs softly at the silence and stands up. "I'm gonna walk for a bit, I'll be back in a bit. Holler if you need anything" He heads into the garden, hands in his pockets. 'I don't know if I feel a sense of duty to be by his side all the time or if all that's been happening is because I love him..I mean the ladies are nice and all, but none of them are like him..' He sighs and continues to think about it as he walks. He pauses "I do love him.." he muttered to himself, flustered.
Onyx nodded and once Tatsuno was out of sight he put his hands to his face. He couldn't help the tears that fell as he sobbed softly, feeling so conflicted with his feelings.
Tatsuno brushed his hair out of his face and walked back. He pauses seeing Onyx crying and hurriedly walks over. He kneels in front of Onyx and gently moves his hands, wiping the tears away "Hey, it's ok" he smiles softly.
Onyx shook his head and looked at Tatsuno "No it's not. I feel so conflicted and i don't know if my feelings are ok or not."
Tatsuno sighs softly "Onyx, your feelings are yours and no one can tell you what you feel is wrong. Would you rather suffer because you didn't listen to your heart, or be happy because you did listen to your heart?" He gently placed his hand on Onyx's chest "You're the highest standing noble here, you can change the rules if you want to. But follow your heart because your heart knows you best."
Onyx blushes and takes a deep breath "Tatsuno.." He quickly leaned in and kissed Tatsuno passionately and deeply.
