Harry, the rest of the company, and I walked inside the Abbey theater of Dublin.
Tonight was our first night doing this new ballet that we named 'Who cares?'.
And as it was the first night of the tour, we were all pretty nervous.
Even though we had been practising and rehearsing for the last year, this was huge. But I was sure that we were going to make history.
This new original ballet tells a contemporary story, something that is not usually seen in such an archaic art as ballet dancing.
We are telling the story of two men falling in love.
No female lead. No prima ballerina.Yeah, we were that rebellious.
And we were really happy with the final product. We were proud, and we couldn't wait for the rest of the world to enjoy it.
We all looked around the theater in awe. It was amazing. It had so much history, and it was just beautiful.
I still found it hard to believe that we were going to dance on that stage. We haven't been in Ireland during The Nutcracker tour, so it was our very first time here and I was astonished.
What a great way to start the tour.
And It's not sarcastic this time. After looking around and proving the stage floor, we still had three hours before the show, time we had to prepare ourselves.
So, all of us headed to the dressing rooms under the stage.Harry and I walked to our shared dressing room, because of course we would share one, and we both started to take our things out, very focused on getting ready.
With the corner of my eye I saw Harry sat down and ran his hands on his face, he was frustrated.
"What is it?" - I asked.
"Nothing." - he sighed.
"Is the one and only Harry Styles nervous?" - I teased.
"Please don't joke." - He said.
Okay. So he is nervous.
"Hey." - I stood up from my chair and knelt down beside him. - "What 's wrong?"
"I'm fine, Lou."
I raised an eyebrow at him.
"I'm not buying that."
"Just let me handle this by myself."
"First tell me what 'this' means."
"I'm scared." - He let out.
What.
"Why?"
"Louis, this is the first time I'm going to dance in front of people after three years."
